I love the 2K Gsync monitor. By far worth the $500 price. Only 2 issues: 1) When the monitor goes to sleep, seems the easiest way to wake it up is to hit the menu button. I believe the 2nd issue is more a DisplayPort issue, when I turn the 2nd monitor off (DisplayPort also), the windows all move to the primary monitor. Oh, when the S2716DG goes to "sleep", the windows move to the 2nd monitor until I hit the menu button.

Just bought a pair of these monitors while they were on sale and, gotta say, the picture quality is much better than what I was thinking them to be. only issue to bring up at this time is that one of the two monitors already has some dead pixels within days of the initial purchase. going to replace that one ASAP. Dell, you gotta up your quality control.

The color is nice, and the price is just right. I would recommend it to my friends

If this was the same price as the comparable Asus, I would have bought the Asus, but it's not. When it's on sale, it's an absolute no brainer if this is the kind of thing you want. The initial settings are a pain and should be adjusted, but there's plenty of guidance available online for that. The "deep sleep" mode should probably be turned off as well. You will need to use the Display Port cable for 144mhz.

So I was replacing a 5 year old 60hz Dell monitor still serves me well but I needed an upgrade. I was looking for something that would last me another 5 years. I figured I could appreciate the 144hz especially coming from an older monitor. The setup was super easy all of my games look amazing and have 0 complaints. Dell did an amazing job and will continue to use them!

I had been looking for a new monitor for the longest time and was disappointed with the selections on the market. I wanted something with good picture quality that had a display port and I could not find it, until this monitor! It is on a tower and has a turn table on the bottom of the stand. It is a matte screen (no glare) and the resolution is beyond incredible. Kudos to Dell for making one heck of a monitor!!

Pros: 1ms, 144 hz, Gsync , 2K most everything you look for in a gaming monitor at a great price, when on sale. Other reviews stated it looked washed out, out of the box and it does. tweaking in Nvidia control panel made a world of difference. It is not near IPS quality but it is $300+ cheaper, Most IPS monitors are 4-5 ms and 60 hz. So you trade some picture quality for all that gain. Cons: Not IPS, oh well

I really like this monitor for my gaming system. It's well worth the price.

This is a great gaming monitor. It has a big, clear screen and it the refresh rate and response time is marvelous. G-Sync is also great if you have an Nvidia GPU

Out of the box, the gamma is much more washed out looking than my previous monitor. I had to set it to 0.75 in the NVIDIA Control Panel to make it match close enough. Fullscreen games that use their own separate gamma settings look slightly more washed out than they should. Other than that, though, I'd say this is a pretty good monitor. When it's on sale, it's worth the price. I got mine for $300. I would not pay $600 for this, though.

No more screen-tearing when paired with my Nvidia 2080 graphics card, and the 2K gaming is excellent. Mine does have one small area that has a dead pixel when the monitor is first turned on, but it goes away after it warms up a little, so I decided not to return it. Other than that little pixel, the rest of the monitor is excellent.

I got this from a friends recommendation and I love it. It may not be IPS but it is such a sweet monitor. 2k 144hrtz. I love and the picture quality at $300 it is a steal. The picture quality is much better than the original Samsung 28” 4K monitor I bought. although it was nice, when playing games in 1080 or 2k they just didn’t look right.

Upgraded from 1080 60hz asus monitor, and I’m very satisfied with 144 hz 2k it works extremely well with my msi 1080 gtx gpu. Super smooth. Bought it on sale for $399 can’t beat that price for all the specs it comes with. No complaints so far. Runs pubg and bf1 with no problems. Never thought about dell before but reconsidered after a coworker told me about this monitor glad I listened.

I've had this monitor for about a month now. There has been no failures or issues of any kind. The 2K resolution looks great and the size is not overkill for programming work. The styling is reserved and suitable for a work environment with the possible exception of the Nvidia G-Sync sticker on the base. I had no problem getting G-Sync to work with the EVGA GTX 1050 display adapter. I think I enabled it in the Nvidia app for the 1050 then I enabled it in the monitors on-screen menu. My monitor has no bad pixels or light bleed at the edges. Some gamers tweak up the chroma on it but it comes out of the box pretty well adjusted. It is practical to run a 2K monitor at high frame rates during intensive games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, BF5 but you should probably get something better than the GTX 1050 that I use. I'm guessing an RTX 2070 could hit the 140 FPS rate with the highest settings. If you want an understated gaming monitor you cannot go wrong with this one.

A good monitor for gaming and the size works great for this resolution

I've had this monitor since 2017 and it had been great. I move it around and take it places and although not the most portable it has held up very well to being knocked around in my car. The picture is great and with the high refresh rate it is fantastic for gaming. Just know you may need a fairly beefy PC if you want to hit 144fps at max resolution.

These displays are so incredibly awesome! I bought two for my work/gaming setup. G-Sync is a must have for any gamer that appreciate great visuals. 1440P in my opinion is the sweet spot for computer gaming; where 4K is still a little too demanding for many game engines and supported hardware. I have zero regrets with these displays and will most likely be using these monitors for many years.

Great gaming monitor! I purchased this monitor about 2 years ago and it has been great. The picture quality is very crisp and the 144hz refresh rate is perfectly smooth. I did get this on a sale when I purchased so I paid $350 and it was well worth the money. I have not felt the need to replace it 2 years later.
