Best Buy says this monitor retails for 599 normally and for that money you could get a much better IPS panel with a slightly higher refresh rate. I got it on sale for 300 and for that price it’s a bargain. Responsive TN panel. G-sync is nice to have. No issues with build quality. Small footprint if you aren’t using VESA mount. Recommended if you can find it on sale.

This Dell monitor is awesome, does everything I need it to, no lag or skip and at 27 inches it's just a great buy for the price

It was very easy to set up and came with different types of cables, that from which I've read it is not as common as expected, to connect to your video card. Like one of the reviewers said, something I liked about this monitor is that it has minimalist look without looking cheap. I do not particularly like the "gaming" aesthetic that most monitors with a higher refresh rate have. I wish I would be able to lower the monitor further from what it allows. Minor issue. At first I was having a weird issue with image being displayed. A blurry vertical line right across the middle was present on the second day that I set up the monitor. After a reboot, this solved the issue. Very well could have been the video card, so I not hold that against the monitor just yet. Has not happened since then. As the image gets nearer the border, the image start to look washed out. However, I was already expecting this due to the panel, but was hoping they had improved on that. When gaming and panning the camera, there's artifacts around the character that can be distracting. Not a big issue because you have to look for those details, however, they are there. I bought this monitor for 50% discount, so it wasn't a bad deal for the price I paid. I don't think this monitor is worth its full price.

Bought this monitor for my gaming computer and PS4. Couldn’t beat the price for what I got and there’s not that many monitors with gsync. I love it. Great picture, never need to adjust setting, it’s just good to go! If I could have afforded it I would have gotten 2, but in hindsight good thing I didn’t now that 4K is getting cheaper

Color and refresh rate make a big difference with this monitor.

Very solid monitor. Needs tweaking out of the box to look great. Once you find settings you like gsync keeps everything running nice and smooth with a great looking picture

When playing games on your computer this is a perfect fit. 4k monitors look better but you need to shell out 1000 bucks plus for a video card that can handle this in max Settings. 1080 HD resolution is old school. The picture looks great, easy to connect. Price is about right when you compare other monitors.

Best monitor for 1440P gaming, colors need to be calibrated but no other complaints

I love this monitor. 2k, 144Hz, GSync, etc. Do I think it's worth the 600+ you normally find it for, maybe. I'm sure looking you could buy better for that price. I got mine on sale. Will buy another if I catch it on sale again. I love this thing. Great color, great picture. Games look wonderful. Movies look wonderful. Great product.

Took some researching to figure out the best set up for this monitors settings but after you do it, it is a great monitor.

Great looking 1440p, 144hz, G-synce monitor. I bought an open-box that was practically new for a $250 savings. I got rev09, has no dead pixels and acceptable color banding. This display is just gorgeous. I get very smooth gameplay at 1440p and I feel absolutely no input lag. I would buy again when on sale.

Important specs are all there, 1400p, 144hz, 1ms response time, and G-SYNC. Display looks great and is perfect for office/gaming mixed use. Just know that you are stuck at 60hz if you only use the HDMI cable, but the box includes a Display Port cable for full 144hz output.

Amazing picture and response time. Got it much cheaper than MSRP - worth every penny. One concern is a built in menu - choose for item highlighting is questionable, and not very intuitive, plus buttons are hard to find in a dark room. But who changes the settings every day :)

Right off the bat, I want to state that I had to go through 3 monitors before I received one without dead pixels; it's a shame that Dell perhaps doesn't have a high quality control on their upper-end monitors. That said, Best Buy was excellent with ensuring I could return the units until I got one without a pixel issue. On to the monitor! In one word: amazing. It looks excellent for a TN panel (as opposed to an IPS). The 144Hz and 1440p display makes playing games a downright joy. I can't believe I went this long with the standard 60Hz! The monitor itself is beautiful and minimal by design; its menus are intuitive and lean. I would have felt justified in my purchase had I purchased it for $600 retail. It's only icing on the cake that I grabbed it for $349.99 on a Black Friday deal. If you're on the fence with the monitor then I say go for it. Its excellent visual quality will blow you away - especially if you're a gamer! I would only recommend another display if you're an avid Adobe Suite user as an IPS display would offer higher color accuracy.

Good response times. As good of a picture as you can get for a TN panel. I love playing games at 1440p and the addition of gsync keeps the game smooth even when the frame rate drops. Highly recommend to anyone that wants gsync or 1440p but doesn’t want to break the bank. Wait for a sale!

I've never taken the plunge on a 1440p, 144hz monitor with g-sync. However, this monitor is a great combination of all those great specs along with an affordable price tag. The smoothness of gameplay afforded by this monitor is amazing. I don't think I could ever go back after gaming on this device.

Purchased this for gaming and it is just perfect for my current setup. My past monitor was just 60hz and over saturated. This monitor once calibrated has fairly accurate color and is refreshing to the eyes. The refresh rate to 144hz sold me since it made gaming much better.
