Nice Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dells are solid and an excellent choice. Got this monitor at a great price, so I am very happy about how it works in my set up. Things to note are the size and a nice sturdy stand. A very nice thin bezel makes for a good multi-monitor setup. This is the monitor that met all my requirements of 27'' 1440p at 144hz with G-sync. Good stuff.

G-SYNC for the Low
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor has been around quite awhile now, are there better monitors out there, yes. But at the price you wont be getting G-SYNC along with 1440p resolution, 144hz, and other standard features of this monitor. This is hands down the best priced G-SYNC monitor you can get (grab it on sale!).

Awesome monitor
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this monitor when it was on sale for $250.00 which was a great deal. Everything about the monitor feels solid and sturdy, from the stand and its tilt and swivel function, to the monitor buttons and bezel. The screen has an almost matted finish which makes is anti-reflective at best. I would say the colors appear fine since it wouldnt be fair to compare it visually to a 4K hdr tv. The 144hz refresh rate is amazing and everything is buttery smooth so long as your gpu and cpu can maintain the title. Gsync helps the more demanding titles, like RIME, run smoothly when maxed out. I would have loved another displayport input but i am also happy with the hdmi input as I can run my original xbox or pre2000s consoles on it. The usb ports are great for running speakers through so less wiring running around. Deep sleep function sometimes takes forever to start the monitor up again but you can turn it off in settings. Overall, hell of a deal for an awesome gaming monitor. Just maybe put another displayport input, rgb option, and hdr?

Great Monitor For The Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I happened to find this monitor on sale for $360. It had been recommended to me earlier by a friend. It has similar-enough specs to more expensive monitors, and it works great for gaming. Set up was very simple. I had to change a setting in Windows to get gsync to work, but the monitor works flawlessly. The extra USB ports are convenient, although the one in the back can be hard to reach, and longer dongles won't fit in that port. The stand is adjustable on every axis (up/down, tilt left/right, angle forward/back), but it is almost too sensitive. I constantly tilt the monitor when I try to access the side USB ports or even pressing the power button. For the negatives: There is no good or easy way to calibrate the color. You have presets of default, warm, cool, or user-defined, where you adjust R,G,B values 1-100, as well as brightness/contrast settings. When I put my computer to sleep the first time after using this monitor, the monitor didn't wake up from sleep, and I had to restart my whole computer. I turned off the "deep sleep" option, and that seemed to fix it. NOTE: This monitor uses a TN panel. I know that they have reduced viewing angles, but this monitor seems to have a very small sweet-spot. If I am slightly too far/near or left/right of the monitor, the colors look too warm/cool. I'm not removing a whole star because of this, since it may be that I am too close to the screen.

I will be buying a second one.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I consider myself a enthusiast computer gamer. I usually buy high-end and play games at 1440p, 144hz with 1ms response. This monitor is not advertised as top of the line by any means but I can barely tell the difference between my high-end monitor. Definitely recommend if you can find at $299-349.

Excellent Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased two of these when on sale (~$350) and couldn't be happier with the performance. Used on a gaming PC with dual monitor setup. One of the best TN panel monitors, 27" 144hz 1440p G-sync capability, its excellent. Highly recommend to others looking for a great monitor to add to their setup.

Amazing monitor for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For this price and a gsync display, it cant be beat. It may be a TN panel, but the response time you get from that is amazing, plus the colors look great for a TN panel still.

Great 27" gaming monitor for less than $400
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting for this gaming monitor to hit the $400 price point. It has all the same specs compared to other more expensive gaming monitors. It had all the specs to be paired with my Nvidia GTX 1080 video card. It's not the best looking monitor (compared to an Acer Predator), but it performs just as well. The only downsides (minor) are: - Limited to just DVI and HDMI inputs. Another 2 more would have been ideal, since I would connect it to a PS4, Macbook, and a desktop gamin system. - It lacks the auto switching on active sources - It lacks custom preset modes for gaming, reading, nightview, etc.

Great gaming monitor at a great price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really nervous about buying this monitor, since it's a Dell and it's their first real competitive gaming monitor. I figured the Asus, Acer, Ben Q monitors would be the way to go. In the end, those monitors just carry hefty prices because of the brand name and because they're IPS monitors (which actually have all kinds of issues, regardless of model, and it's almost a 50/50 chance that you'll get a bad monitor or just have to deal with light bleed or dead pixels). Boy was I wrong. This monitor looks fantastic, is quality made and the colors are actually great once you calibrate them. I was using a 40" Samsung TV as my monitor, but after using this beast, there's no chance I'll ever go back to a TV or even 1080p gaming. The colors actually beat the Samsung TV and it was just really nice going back to a 27" monitor. The fast response feature does cause ghosting, but the average gamer won't really notice. I didn't even notice until I started looking for it. It's more noticeable in certain games. You can just set the response time to Normal and the ghosting will be gone. For the price ($550 at time of purchase), and the quality, this monitor is a no-brainer.

Exceptional Gaming Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is fantastic. If you are looking for 27 inch size, high refresh rate, 1 ms response, and Gsync for a mid range price then this is a great selection. The colors are great after calibration in-monitor and through the NVIDIA control panel. Would buy again in a hearbeat. Blows the Asus vg248qe I have out of the water.

Best 1440p 144hz monitor for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this monitor for 450 dollars and it has all the features of a 700 dollar monitor and up. The 1440p is crisp with the big screen and the 144hz is the smoothest thing ive ever seen. Trust me it'll make 60hz look like 30hz in comparison. The only problem is no ips but you cant have everything. With the help of amd's saturation software this screen will look as good as any ips monitor. In summary if you want 1440p 144hz this is the best monitor for you

Dell 27 Led Gsync Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product for the price of a G-Sync, 144hrz. I know its a TN panel it still looks great with a little calibration that you easily find online. The stand is also great with little bit of cable management and ease of use but iv'e currently switched to a vesa dual mounted monitor. I recieved it with one dead pixel on the top left, but I can live with that. Great price and awesome monitor.

Amazing Display
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before purchasing this display around two months ago. It basically came down to: get a TN panel display (which this one is) that doesn't have such great colors but costs less and has near instant response time, or get an IPS panel which costs more but has a better overall display quality. Well, I honestly don't care about viewing angles since I'm sitting directly in front of the screen 99% of the time, and the colors can be adjusted using the display settings and Nvidia control panel to get much richer colors than default. You end up at a compromise, where this monitor costs significantly less than an IPS, but can still achieve a very respectable display quality by just doing a few simple tweaks. Just Google the model number followed by color settings Reddit (xxxxx color settings Reddit), and a thread will pop up that shows you what can be achieved. I'm very pleased with this monitor.

Great TN gaming monitor with a flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I think this is a solid gaming monitor but be aware that there are some drawbacks: PROS: - The Monitor looks good, it has a clean, professional look which hides it's gaming pedigree (not a bad thing) - The stand is fantastic and works really well - Super fast (144hz) and a great resolution (QHD) to run modern and older games - Good price/value ratio -> make sure you get it on sale for around $350 - 144hz and QHD resolution :) - a gamer's dream CONS: - There is only one but is an important one: because this is a TN panel the colors are going to look washed out when compared to IPS panels. If you are coming from an IPS or OLED panel this will be very noticeable. Also, to make matters worse, the monitor calibration out of the box is TERRIBLE, if you own this monitor PLEASE go to TFT central.com and get the right numbers, it will make a drastic difference.

Great 1440 Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting to make this purchase for a while now. I am so glad I did. I came from a 1080 60 frame monitor and the difference is incredible. Great color after adjustment, butter smooth, and great resolution. Really can't ask for more. Especially for the price.

Great! Very minor issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything I could have asked for with quality and Gsync. When there are cut scenes in games or opening logo load screens, there are some problems with the black and grey getting spotty (I'm sure there is a more technical term for it, but I don't care enough about the minor issue to research it). I got the monitor on discount and it was totally worth the purchase. There may be a problem when turning on the computer that I had read reviews on previously, but I have not had to get into my Bios lately.

Awesome Screen!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Colors are great. As with any TN panel viewing angles aren't great but you are playing from head on so no issue here. Very fluid gaming. Not recommended for regular movie watching bc it is a TN panel and full darkness isn't that great.

Awesome Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A top notch gaming monitor. Great response time, great refresh rate and the 2K resolution definitely doesn't hurt. Works great with the 1070 gtx, love the gsync. Only issues I had with monitor was a brief static when the clock speed for the graphics card would adjust (resolved with a driver update), and a bad high speed usb cable. The telescoping swivel stand is sturdy and quite useful for heavy computer gaming on the couch.
