Great for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor meets all my expectations. Viewing angles might not be the best but when gaming it shouldn’t be an issue since you look at the screen straight ahead. Usually is discounted so for the price and size and hardware it can’t be beat. Some will say tn panels are worse but it is fine. IPS are used by creators where color accuracy is more important. The frame at the bottom right isn’t flush on multiple models which made me think it was broken at first but others have the same issue.

Excellent monitor for a group price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dell puts out great monitors and if you can get this on sale, it's an incredible purchase. Picked one up during Black Friday sales for $350, and for that price it's an incredible bargain. I've already ordered a second. Just make sure that you tone down the brightness and adjust the colors a bit in both the monitor's settings and your GPU's settings (if it's applicable).

Very very good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor when I was in the actual physical store. The screen is bigger than I expected, coming from a 22” Zowie BenQ, the refresh rate, along with resolution are better than any monitors I’ve ever owned. The design is sleek, easy to set up, great performance. Good product for anyone wanting a main monitor and don’t want to fork the money over for a 4K model.

Great High refresh gaming and smoooottthhhh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a top competitor to all the other gaming monitors out there and comes in a bit cheaper on price but not on performance. I am very satisfied. It make ovewatch and Battlefield 1 look so great at 1440 and 144 then the gsync puts the cherry on top.

Amazing monitor!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Colors pop, and image is sharp and clear. 1440p with 144hz refresh rate looks and feels amazing especially with FPS games. My stats have improved in Battlefield V because of this monitor. Definitely recommend.

As Good As I Expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought mine during Black Friday week. Being pretty much everything I was looking for, the only thing I was debating was if I wanted this 27" model or the 24" model. Safe to say I'm pretty well happy with the 27" model. This monitor is pretty good for the price (~$350) if you're looking for a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor, provided you don't somehow get a very early revision of the monitor (before they mostly fixed the light bleeding issue). I also found there was a USB hub on the back (two slots), which is nice for my keyboard and dedicated microphone. It is however sometimes hard to find (quantum USB positions and all that). Also, I find that this monitor "starts up" much faster than my previous monitors, which is super nice.

Excellent Monitor with some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time of purchase this was ~ 350. For the features you get G-sync, 1440p, 144hz, and a ergonomic designs. The panel is best in class for a TN panel. It's not IPS quality, but its as close as a TN panel will get after tweaking with the NVCP. Mine originally came with dead pixels, but I exchanged it. That was the main reason to purchase from Bestbuy - their excellent return/exchange policy. After having such a hassle free experience I got talked into buying a warranty with the monitor. My experience convinced me I would have no issues in the future if I was to ever make a claim on the warranty. At the price I purchased this for this is a no brainer, at MSRP I would recommend looking into IPS monitors. 4.5/5 stars.

Excellent monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to a 1080 ti and wanted a better monitor to pair up with my old HP2310 monitor. This blows the old one away and I immediately wanted a second one so I could get rid of the HP. The colors are 10x better. The ONLY issue I have with this monitor is the minuscule on/off switch. It's very small and some times difficult to use.

Great monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor was a good purchase when it was on sale. Very much like an IPS screen but is a TN panel. Some adjustment is needed but afterwards color look GREAT for a TN monitor! Would recommend this for sure for gaming and work

Monitor is amazing, but there can be a catch.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is amazing. There is no pixel smearing at 144hz, even during dark scenes or moving around UI that is in dark mode. However, my first monitor had a defect, the HDMI port just did not work. This is apparently a fairly common problem with this monitor in the fact that quality control is all over the place. Thankfully I discovered this as soon as I plugged it in and returned it for another. If you buy this monitory, check to make sure everything is working before the 15 day return window is up. Also, this monitor goes on sale randomly. I picked it up for under $300, so wait for a sale if you're thinking about buying and make sure you get the Geek Squad Protection Plan on this one. Also make sure you get r10 or higher as 9 and below are known to have panel defects.

Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So glad I picked this monitor up while it was on sale. The g-sync and 1440p are awesome. I'm getting a very smooth image with average fps at 80 on a gtx 1070. Diablo 3 stays steady at 144 and it makes the gameplay much smoother with zero input lag or stuttering or frame clipping. So good. The height adjustment is also awesome and smooth.

Best G-sync value there is + one issue.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my monitor (Rev. A08) and within 2 hours it seemed bricked. The power light was solid, on, but the screen was not turning on and my computer didn't even think there was a monitor connected. Even unplugging the power from the monitor didn't help and the white light stayed on! IF you encounter this issue, then do these simple steps: Unplug all your cables, usb / hdmi / display port while the monitor is plugged in and the white light is on. Unplug power from monitor. Press all the physical buttons on the monitor while it is unplugged and off and wait 30 seconds. Plug power cable back in. Turn monitor on and plug your cables back in. Immediately when the screen finally comes back on - disable the Deep Sleep Feature as suggested in many other reviews. this will use 15 watts of power even when the monitor and computer are in sleep mode since it will not turn off the G-Sync module in the monitor, but the old CRT monitors used on average 12 watts when asleep so no big deal. The Good: Everything else. This is a gaming monitor and I won't waste time sharing the pros and cons with color accuracy and contrast, blackness levels. If you aren't using this for gaming then do not buy this. You really don't need to know anything else. This is a gaming monitor for people wanting refresh rates faster than 60hz. Not for video work. Not for photo editing. It is for gaming at 144hz with a crisp image and quick response and no screen tearing. Follow the suggestions here and around the web for adjusting the monitors on-board settings as well as Nvidia's desktop override settings and then adjust to your preference. I'll be extremely real here. You will not get some random games colors to be 100% accurate to how they were designed. The whites might not be perfectly white. The Blacks might not be perfectly black. This is PERFECTLY FINE. These are games - not videos. These are fantasy, not photos. Having Junk rat's flame hair in Overwatch being 2% more orange than it would be on a properly calibrated IPS screen matter absolutely ZERO to us, the gamers. What matters is the images are crisp, clean - the blacks are black enough (They aren't grey by perception unless you place it next to an OLED TV) The whites - are white enough. In a nutshell: This monitor while playing games does in no way feel like you are giving up anything in terms of picture quality. It truly doesn't feel like a budget screen you are looking at. Buy it, turn off Deep Sleep, calibrate it to your liking and never look back unless its to see the money you saved not buy an IPS.

So far, has been good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has been a good experience. After updating my GPU drivers, and adjusting the settings it looks great. Have a 4k IPS panel next to it and I can tell the difference in quality, but the 144 hz refresh rate can't be matched for FPS games. Did notice a bright blue dot in the center of the screen with certain pictures, which is disappointing. Recommend the GSP, to swap it out if it happens to anyone else.

Great GSync Monitor..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Gsync Monitor with some calibration the picture looks good. It is not what you can get from an IPS monitor but it is what it is. Wish it was a bit brighter. I have it next to a dells 2k IPS monitor and there is a noticeable color difference but that 144hz refresh rate more than makes up for it when playing FPS.

144hz is Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this monitor to go with my new PC which was a huge upgrade over it's predecessor. The video processing power of my new PC would have been wasted on my old monitor so it was time for an upgrade in that department as well. I selected this particular monitor for the combination of 1440p resolution, 144hz refresh, and G-sync. Upon firing up the monitor for the first time, colors do appear a little washed out, but after some minor color adjustments in the monitor settings and display settings, the picture is absolutely beautiful. If you're an avid PC gamer and haven't made the switch to 144hz yet, you're missing out. It's a must-have. The G-sync makes single player games like Witcher 3 buttery smooth. Would recommend!

An excellent monitor for 2560 x 1440 viewing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't really put this monitor to the test yet because I got it for the new PC I will buy or build soon. My old video cars is a Radeon HD 5830. It does have a display port, though, and I am using that for showing 2560 x 144 screens @ 100 Hz. The colors are vibrant and very vivid, If it holds up over time, this will be the best monitor I've ever owned and I have been into computers since the 386DX-40 days. Even my old games look great and I' sure that the newer games that an updated PC can run will be gorgeous. This monitor is a good deal at its $499 list price but when it came on sale for $360 or so, it was a STEAL!!!

Intro to Gysnc
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is my first "Premium" monitor. This is my intro to 1440p, 144hz, and G-Sync. I was so skeptical of it all, and I have to be honest. I am absolutely blown away. This monitor is sharp, and has made a huge noticeable improvements to all content on screen. From games to media. It all just looks incredible. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5/5 is the color. The color doesn't pop as it should, which is the downside to a TN Panel. Going from an IPS Panel, that was the only downside. Other than that, this is a great monitor and I am absolutely thrilled with the purchase. I picked this up on sale, and I would recommend waiting until you can grab one for under $500. At full retail, there are much better monitors at the same price point. However, getting picking this up at around $400 makes this the best monitor for the price!

Great for Gaming, but Pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved from 23 inch HD monitor to this, and wow, what a difference. The screen size is great and the clarity is amazing. I didn't want a 4K monitor (only because I didn't think the small size would be beneficial) instead opting to invest in GSync. My eyes were blown away, other HD monitors honestly look fuzzy in comparison. The 144hz refresh rate is great as everything from typing to moving your mouse cursor looks buttery smooth. As for gaming, I've always been a console gamer but it's been difficult to go back after using this bad boy. It's truly a great all around performer. My only knock is the price, but you gotta pay to get the best.

BEST MONITOR EVER(Sweet spot for everything)
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 144hz AND 1440p this monitor is easy for GPUs to drive and has the refreshrate that can actually be shown off...I had a Radeon RX 580 and that was able to get around 120fps on most of my games but with my RTX 2070 this monitor is almost always maxed out(which is what you want) although 1440p compared to 1080p doesn't sound like much it's a lot better and you will notice it, and the same can be said with 144hz. Until 4K 144hz monitors become easier to drive and cheaper to buy 1440p and 144hz is the perfect balance of smoothness and higher resolution
