I did a lot of research on this monitor. The best site was PC Monitors. He gave an extremely detailed review as well as providing a download to improve the gamma for this monitor. Well, I got it and am trying it for at least 30 days. I downloaded the image improvement and enabled G-Sync and WOW. The color looked extremely close to an IPS screen without the IPS Glow that many are experiencing on some of the overclocked IPS monitors from other brand name manufacturers. The monitor has an extremely small bezel and it would be very easy to set up 2 or 3 of them for gaming, work or movies. It comes with all the cables you need and it took me about 15 minutes to set-up and do the download, etc. One thing to look for is the series as to the screen coating. On the box, near the serial number is a code. Mine was AO4 which means it is a newer model with a lighter coating for anti-glare. The early models had a heavier coating, thus resulting in a more washed out image. The color on this is very rich and I am well pleased. I have not had a lot of time to play ;fast paced games as yet, but I am sure the 144 hz will shine. I purchased this monitor on sale and in the future, I may pick up another. A great buy so far and it is hard to believer this is a TN panel. Keep up the good work Dell.

Before moving to the 27" I owned the 24" of this series of monitor, the clarity is amazing. I use it mostly for gaming and the performance is unmatched. I would just recommend not overclocking it to 165mhz and keeping it at 144.

Amazing Monitor 1440p 144 hz and at the time i got it for $300... really good deal.

First of all, the monitor of course excels at gaming with excellent in-game rendering, zero tearing, and vibrant color representation. For my eyes as well, it shines in many other areas including word processing tasks or general web browsing. The only real negative for me would be the narrow viewing angle since a TN panel. However, after the angle adjusted properly depending on viewing position and after several color adjustments/calibrations, the pros certainly outweigh these few negatives.

My son is a gamer and he is studying Gaming Art in LA. He insisted on this Dell QHD Monitor because he has seen it in action in his school where he studies. The most he loves about this monitor is refresh rate and clarity.

I love this monitor good bang for the buck. Thought about getting a 4K monitor for the extra $500 price it's not worth it. The GSync and 1ms response time makes all the games play flawlessly. I am using this monitor with my Alienware 17 R4 laptop and my Alienware graphic amp with a Nvidia GTX 1080 FE my setup blows away most desktops. The monitor made a big difference I don't care that it is a TN panel who plays their games at a angle anyway? Dell makes a good product with no quality control issues like a lot of IPS panels do.

The only bad thing I can say is after I bought the monitor it dropped to 350 on Black Friday. Best Buy in their wisdom doesn’t guarantee prices on Black Friday or cyber Monday so you have to return your working monitor. They didn’t have any in store on Friday so I didn’t get that price. Monday they had it for 399 but you had to buy online. Even tho they mysteriously had them in stock at the store. So I returned mine. Yadda yadda yadda I am getting a line on one side of the Monitor. Like the screen size needs adjusted. But it doesn’t happen all the time. So not sure what it is. Restart computer and it’s gone. 2k video looks awesome. I hooked up my old monitor 1080 and the games looked cheesy. I bought the 4 year warranty. Buy if on sale.

Bought this to use for my gaming monitor. Great quality and happy with it, the TN panel is great after you adjust the settings. Looks great center on, wouldn't buy this for a side monitor though. I disagree that it's color is "close" to an IPS monitor as I have two 2k IPS monitors right next to this one and no amount of adjusting has got it close. I recommend this for gaming only. Not working with (design/art/photography). This is a great price for a 2K 144hz monitor with g-sync. Super happy with it!

The monitor is really nice. 2k gaming, 144 fps, everything I wanted. Looks great, picture is great, stand looks great. Cons is definitely the fact I now have a single dead pixel, and it's now no longer exchangable. I have 2 dell monitors for work and had them years and not had this issue. That part really sucks. Also, when computer sleeps, the monitor doesn't seem to want to wake. I have to turn off monitor and back on at times. Besides that, I'm happy with it. Hopefully Dell will exchange for the dead pixel and I'll be in love again.

Countless hours watching videos and reading reviews on a 1440p 144hz monitor and I ended up at this Dell product. Coming from a dual ASUS 1080p monitors the difference is night and day. Yes, this is a TN panel but has to be one of, if not the best TN panel out there. Colors pop, the framerate is smooth and its just an overall beast. I have to stress one thing, settings out of the box are HORRIBLE and very unimpressive. I searched online for some calibration settings and I have to say its a beast of a monitor!

I built my first gaming pc last year and I felt like I was missing something, Somebody on Reddit said that I should get a better monitor and suggested this one. I decided to bite the bullet and I got it while it was on sale. It was one of the best decisions I have made when it comes to gaming. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is mindblowing and so is the jump from 60hz to 144hz. G-SYNC is also amazing.

Bought this monitor during Best Buy's black Friday sales. It was delivered quickly and setup was pretty simple. Performance of this monitor is top notch with fast refresh and response rate as well as GSync.

The Dell 27" G-Sync Monitor was initially unimpressive due to the factory default color settings. However, once adjusting the color & brightness settings in the NVidia control panel I can say that it looks every bit as good as an IPS monitor. The best part is definitely when playing games. This monitor is incredible. 2K resolution is perfect for gaming as I can hit 60+ frames per second on my Geforce GTX 1060 6GB in practically every game on high quality settings. In fact, games like Forza Horizon 3 average around 90+ frames per second. FPS are absolutely incredible. The high framerate + fast refresh rate on this monitor really creates a smooth gaming experience with no tearing. G-Sync technology is phenomenal.

I read multiple reviews on this monitor before making this purchase, and for the price point of a 144hz, 1440p, G-Sync 27-inch monitor, I could not be more impressed. Granted, I bought this monitor for $450. I contemplated between this TN panel and other IPS gaming monitors, and decided upon this one because I didn't justify IPS for 200 more dollars. I'm going to be staring straight at the screen 99% of the time anyways. TL;DR Great TN panel Gaming monitor if you can get it on sale sub-$500.

Been gaming with my new PC on this monitor for a while now and I absolutely love it. It has a beautiful display and it's refresh rate is awesome. You can definitely tell who isn't playing with a monitor that has a high refresh rate in competitive game. Love this monitor and I got it for half the price during a sale event. Couldn't imagine playing with a ordinary slow refresh rate monitor again.

This monitor has an excellent response time and refresh rate which is great for gaming and the ability to change to portrait orientation at the highest resolution means you get to see more of your code.

The combination of a 144Hz monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync has changed the way I play games. The fluid and smooth gameplay makes a huge difference coming from a 60Hz panel. The TN display does not bother me since I have been using TN panels exclusively and have never personally used an IPS display. The setup was trivial and I looked up a guide to calibrate the colors. I highly recommend this monitor whenever it goes on sale for less than $400.

I went from a 28” 4k monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate to this, and I’m glad I did! Games are so much more fluid and smooth with a 144Hz refresh rate. I honestly didn’t think I would notice this much difference, but playing games with G-sync enabled must be experienced for yourself! I wouldn’t pay full price, so wait for a sale and pull the trigger. If you are undecided on wether to go with 4K or a 2k with higher refresh rates, go 2k and let the framerates skyrocket! I have an RTX 2080 and playing at 2k seems to be the sweet spot.

It is the perfect monitor for gaming, the 1 ms response time; the gaming images from multiple games I play are superb I highly recommend this product for gamers. I spent 4k on my custom rig and still have yet finished, So when I say it's worth it. take my word seriously; I am a computer gamer who wants superb parts for my rig only. I search for the best and this monitor and it's price atm of 369.99 is a steal go get it.

This is an awesome monitor for gaming! When I first went to Best Buy looking for a gaming monitor, I was actually looking for some ASUS brand monitors. They didn't have any 27inch monitors but the worker there actually suggested this DELL monitor. only difference was that the DELL's provided 144HZ and ASUS was 160(?)HZ. To me, 144HZ with G-Sync is good for me. Didn't have any problem with this product. PLUS it was on sale, so I got this for a very decent price.
