The printer is compact and prints well for small office or home use. However, I neglected to check the price of toner and it is very expensive, possibly because it is a newer printer so you may want to spend a little more for the high yield (12,000 page) which overall turns out to be a better buy than buying the lower yield (2,000 page) which is just half the price. Although I was able to use the wireless connection to my laptop, I kept having to troubleshoot it often to reconnect so I just use the usb cable provided. Other than that, it's not a bad entry level laser printer. One more thing, the picture on the website is not the actual printer you will get.

This printer is pretty decent. Not very big, not very loud, and prints quickly. It has USB port, Ethernet port, and wireless (2.4 ghz only). My only complaint is the wireless is terrible. First, you cannot use 5.0 ghz signals, and the 2.4ghz signal I received only about 8 feet away from my router had a 1 bar signal and was too weak to complete setup. My router is great and other devices in the same spot receive full signal. Ultimately, I ran an Ethernet cable instead and it works perfect. USB cable and power cable are included in the box.

Did a quick wireless installation, and setup and the printer worked as advertised. Clean output and easy feature changes as needed. quiet and quick even with two sided output.

Just what we needed. Love the wireless feature for both of our laptops to use this printer. It's really fast. We have now used the two sided (duplex) option and it's really nice. Small, simple, easy, basic but with a few really nice bells and whistles.

I've been looking for a solid, reliable B&W printer for a while. There was a deal on this and it's a steal for $50. Quality is great, replacement toners are very low price compared to others. I have it set up on my wireless network and I've never had a problem. Unless you absolutely need a laser printer, I'd recommend going for this.

This printer is a solid value all around. If you're in the market for a monochrome printer this is a great option. It works with Airprint and Google Cloud Print so you can easily print from mobile devices and wifi setup was easy (it requires connecting via USB to configure the wifi network, but then you unplug and it's good to go). And since it supports Airprint, Macs can discover and print without installing printer specific drivers. I haven't had to replace the toner yet, but cheap generic toner is available for this printer, ensuring the long-term cost will not be excessive. It also has Duplex printing, so it will print automatically to both sides of a page (if you want) saving paper. Downsides to this printer? If you need color, you can often find similar color laser printers for not too much more. It's also a single function printer (i.e. no scanner/copier/fax features). But if you're looking for a solid, set-and-forget, wifi (with airprint/cloud print), and inexpensive to maintain black and white laser printer this is a great choice.

The printer set up easily after it recognized wifi (make sure signal is strong and printer is close to router initially). Prints with speed and clarity. Toner cost should be much less than ink cartridges.

I have a home business where I print dozens of shipping labels every day. I was tired of spending $100's on ink every year, so I looked into getting a laser jet. I've always had good experience with Dell, and after reading the reviews I decided to buy this E310dw. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's been over 6 months, and I am still using the original toner cartridge that came with the printer! I would have spent roughly $88 on ink for my old ink jet printer, during this same time period. So this has almost paid for itself! Print quality has been great, and print speed has been phenomenal. If you are in the market for a laser jet printer, I would seriously consider getting this one.

The main reason I chose this laser printer is you can a generic toner very cheaply on Amazon. You do not need to buy a dell specific toner for this printer. Printer quality is fine. I mainly use this for printing out research papers and I print quite often. No paper jams so far. Also the printing speed is as advertised. Anyway, if you are looking for a cost efficient printer look no further.

I use my new printer for hard copy proof reading and organization of my documents. Countless printing use of personal stuff (maps coupons fix-it directions calendar tasks receipts email etc)

It looks great on my desk and prints incredibly well. I love that it came with a starter cartridge and USB Cable right out of the box. I use it primarily for packing (labels) and other misc. print jobs, so the double sided feature is a plus. The toner is low cost and with best buy's 15% off for members I'll save even more. I have purchased another two of these E310dw's for my other offices, it is an excellent product at a great price!

Great Laser Printer for a home office. Amazing value and function.

With school age kids, I had grown tired of having a color cartridge empty and still be unable to print out a black and white document. To end those frustrations, we bought this rebranded brother printer. It was easy to connect to the router via WPS and prints effortlessly from laptops and iOS devices.

good printer for black and white, and it works wireless from my iphone without using the dell app and all my tablets, ipad pros, my family phones like it, wish it was color but i didnt read it, just googled what was the best printer, my fault but i liked it so much didnt return plus who prints in color.. lol

Waiting a while to give this printer thorough use. Didn’t really expect much at this price point, but it works well in both wired and wireless modes, as well as Apple AirPrint and Google Print. Printouts are fast and look good. Last test will be how long the cartridge lasts, but so far, so good.

Was waiting for a printer deal to replace my aging Epson inkjet. This Dell came up at a VERY reasonable price. Delivered quickly, setup was straight forward and it works flawlessly. Also MUCH quicker than the old inkjet. Toner cartridges are also reasonably priced (on Amazon). Very happy.

I bought this printer for my high schooler to use from his desktop computer, rather than fighting with our temperamental wireless printer. I'm happy to be able to get a laser printer for about three same cost as an inkjet one. I worry less about "junk" printing by both teenagers. I also expect to get a longer life out of the printer itself than we would from an inkjet model.
