I recently acquired the Dell G15 15.6" FHD 120Hz Gaming Laptop, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and visual experience. This laptop packs a punch with its Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, making it a powerhouse for gaming and other demanding tasks.

Got this a few weeks ago. Played gta5, control,nioh, and the new halo multiplayer. Each game under recommend settings and it played each one nicely. Only gta dropped below 60 fps but i hear the pc port is kinda meh so it may be the game not the laptop. It does run hot so i would recommend a cooling stand. I have not come across any problems so far but in the two weeks I've owned it i haven't had much time. Will update by the end of the month cause i wanna see how it handles the campaign for halo.

Really good laptop, good fps for gaming and i use it for editing videos so its a 10/10

I bought this laptop for my 17 year old as a upgrade to the one he had before he said this one is 10 times better

I bought this for a gift but my son went and bought a new Alienware one so I have an extra computer. Its ok for an open box except it took forever to upgrade to windows 11. Also today it wouldn't turn on at all. I guess the battery went dead so calling support tomorrow. Plus it says 16gb memory but only has 12gb its possible that the first person who bought it changed the memory. Alao the box was torn up I'm amazed it got to me at all

Initially wanted to wait for about 2 weeks before giving a review but something just happened and I decided to write it anyway. This is my second G15 laptop, the first laptop blacked out and never came on after 10 days of purchase. My girlfriend and my cousin asked me to just get a Mac Book but I decided to get a second one. The current laptop just had a slight error with booting up when I got it but it's been fine so far till today (as I'm writing this review...7 days after my purchase). My display just flickered for about 5seconds for absolutely no reason. My girlfriend has been laughing her head off. I'm very close to taking this back and looking for a different laptop or just outrightly getting a MacBook, I'm getting tired of having to set up my laptop every two weeks.

I bought this laptop early January 2022 and have carried in a case to protect it from physical damage. I only use it for gaming and schoolwork. I woke up one morning to open the laptop and found the hinges that connect screen to keyboard were broken, less than 1.5 years after normal use. I got a 1 year warranty, which expired back in January 2023 so now Best Buy won’t fix it. A $1000+ product shouldn’t break in less than a year and a half from regular use. And now I’m stuck having to pay between $300-400 at a local repair shop if I want it fixed. What a ripoff.

Laptop is great. Fast. Smooth. Can be use for work n games but there is a dent on the side.

Amazing gaming laptop good speed to do everiting .

I ordered this laptop to use for casual gaming and school as an engineering student. I’d say it holds up it’s end for being powerful, fast, and capable to handle many applications. However, one thing that didn’t come to mind when choosing it was the actual size and weight. This laptop is definitely not a friend to someone who is on to go or traveling a lot. That’s also considering the fact that it’s takes up ALOT of energy. I found myself having to charge it multiple times a day if I had heavy workloads. This one is definitely gonna have to stay at home for a more casual use.

I’ve had it for about 4 months & it recently began to freeze while attempting to log in. Can’t pull battery out, power button doesn’t function. I hope dell can resolve issue

Very good gaming laptop. This is my first one. Trade-in my MacBook pro-2019 and iPad 4th gen for this bad boy. Works great and you can definitely be satisfied when it opens up Warzone, Apex, Battlefield, or any game you want to play. Very good graphics card from NVIDIA with the intel processor i7, running at 120 Hz and with thermal cooling. This laptop has a button with a "G" on the top row of the keyboard where you can up the performance when gaming but keep in mind, it will drain your battery if it is not plugged. The battery dies pretty quickly when it is not plugged which is why I put a star down for the rating. There is no perfect laptop out there, even for a MacBook Pro, that could hold the battery longer. I will update if there is anything wrong with this laptop. Also please read this interesting part...when going to buy a product or any electronic (like PS5 lol if that ever goes back to stock), they will "try" to convince you to buy the TotalTech Membership. I said no, and they push more on the service. I finally said yes and then cancel it when I got home which I got refunded. It is better off to buy your stuff online than in person. TotalTech seems a decent service for any issues with your products but what if you don't have any issues for that one year, that is 200 dollars lost if anything. Too much money for one year, maybe for two years could be good. Not saying it is a joke but they should at least put it a hundred bucks for the service and not sale associates push it on the customers. By now, Best Buy has already lost many customers because of this membership.

I'm still using this - it works great. The graphics have been excellent, speed has not been a problem. Make sure you have a good internet connection - cuz you are gonna do a lot more than you thought you were with this computer!

Great gaming laptop! Runs all the newest games with ease. The only down side it the short battery life, how ever i always have it plugged in so no problem for me. Good buy!

My Thoughts on the g15 are very positive, I will structure this list into a pros and cons section. CONS: - The LED light when the cable is plugged in is annoying, especially at night. - The keyboard layout is kind of weird and hard to explain an example of this would be. Small "CRTL" key, I have sometimes accidentally pressed the fn key by mistake. The keys require a firm press, people who used too softer keyboards may accidentally miss letters when typing. The Backspace key is too small in my opinion (someone with middle sized hands for a male). - The speakers sound reasonably loud but have weird buzzy audio or perhaps it is just an audio output that I'm not used to. - storage is a bit low (invest in external HDD or SSD) I have many Pros for this laptop I will list the few that I found most surprising. PROS: - The gaming performance is rather good, I haven't tested too many games, of the games, I have tested (the Witcher 3, and horizon zero dawn) I was able to run both games at high or closed to maxed out with reasonable fps (70+), the thermals, however, were a bit high (in the 90+ at times) I would recommend a cooling pad perhaps. - sleek elegant design (doesn't come across as a gamin laptop unless RGB keyboard is on) - nice colorful display - SURPRISING BATTERY LIFE (shocked at the life, especially for a gaming computer it is rather good when browsing, or doing some moderately stressful office work.) - The camera seems fine for what it is, good for quick zoom meetings or business - The build quality also seems rather firm and high quality.

This is my first PC in a long time. I am used to Macs. With that being said, I had to get used to owning one again. The pros: this is a fast gaming computer. I’m not a hardcore gamer so I haven’t tested out many games yet. So far, Minecraft and Valorant works great. The frames are fast and beautiful. It doesn’t get super hot after using for 2+ hours of gaming. (I keep it raised on a laptop holder for maximum air flow) also this thing is solid and heavy feels like a well made machine. The cons: not sure if it’s because I bought it open box. But this one particular update keeps failing. So far it doesn’t interfere with the pc’s performance, so I’m ignoring it for now. The next con is the sound. It is horrible. It’s either too loud or not loud enough most times. And get this crackly sound. I guess I’m spoiled with Mac’s perfect speakers. Cause this sure is a downgrade. After using with headphones,I kinda get a better sound. And the fans are super loud. But they are not on all the time. But when they blast in, I feel I’m in an airplane lol. Like I said I’m used to the silent M1. Overall I think this is a solid PC. Handles my gaming and live streaming beautifully. And I got a sweet price on it. Almost 3 weeks in and no regrets yet.

Great PC. Durable. Fast. Just wish it had a touch screen.
