Customers have good things to say about the G15 laptop's performance, graphics capabilities, and build quality. Many also appreciate its price point and effective cooling system, although some users suggest memory and storage upgrades. However, negative feedback focuses on the battery life and the display's susceptibility to damage. The laptop's weight is also a recurring concern for some customers.

I've owned this computer for almost 2 years and must say it's still one of the most powerful and relevant gaming laptops out. The RTX handles anything on the market you throw at it. I dock my laptop so never experience the 120Hz display much but when I do open it, it's noticeably clearer than my 120Hz HP 24" monitors. Great looking laptop, love the case and very happy with my purchase even 2 years later. Thanks Best Buy!

Really outstanding overall, super quick to boot up and the performance is exceptional for the cost. Down the road, or maybe even sooner, may upgrade with an additional 8 GB or RAM but this suffices. For now. I'd recommend this computer for the moderate gamer, but if you're hardcore, stick with a more powerful version or a tower that can do what you want and allow for more customization based on your need. It does as it's advertised, and I'm pleased with it.

Picked this up for our teenage daughter who plays sims4 and Minecraft on the pc. Previous laptop was limited to 8gb and kept crashing. When looking wanted one with upgradable ram and storage. This does that and for about $100 more than a workstation pc, this has a discrete GPU amd good display. It's only con is, it is quite a bit heavier than a regular laptop, but that is to be expected

The only down side on this is the sub-par single channel RAM they used. It's Hynix 8gb 1rx16 ram. Had it been a 1xr8 or two 4gb sticks I would have given this 5 stars. Yes, 8gb total is never going to be enough for a gaming laptop or for content creators, but you are buying a laptop with 8GB, so I'm basing my judgement based on what's being purchased, not what you should have purchased.
After an hour or two of updates (Windows and Dell) I can say I'm very happy with this device. Another couple hours of installing my games on an added 2TB NVME SSD, and I'm ecstatic. Yes, I'm not running Ultra settings at 4k, but I know what the performance should be from the 3050 Ti and that's exactly what I'm getting.
I had a Thunderbolt 3 dock (StarTech.com 3 display dock) that I use on my work laptop. I was happy to find that even though the USB-c port isn't thunderbolt that this dock works perfectly. I connect my two external monitors up with DisplayPort and they work just fine. This means I can get a USB-C switch and get rid of my KVM switch. Right now I'm just manually moving the dock between my two laptops.
I am so happy. I'll be even happier when my 32GB of RAM shows up.

This Dell Ryzen Edition is a great laptop. While it's not the most powerful gaming laptop available, if it is on sale (or open box) it's a competitive budget laptop. The 3050ti is the biggest drawback but is still capable of playing anything at reasonable settings and is also capable of recording with nvenc encoding. I have played Neon White, Deathloop and Metro Exodus with no issues at all. The Ryzen 7 processor is extremely good and has allowed me to do video editing on the go instead of only using my desktop. The 120hz screen refresh rate is great and looks nice and smooth. The biggest drawback would be the 8gb of ram instead of 16 but a quick Google search for a compatible stick will lead to a cheap second stick that will run at the recommended speed. Dell also makes upgrading the ram very easy and it does not void your warranty, so that's a nice bonus. One other slight negative is if you want to add a second m.2 for additional storage, you have to buy a bracket and heat sink separately for roughly $30. All that said it's worth the money, I was fortunate to get mine as an open box for a great price and could not be happier, give it a look if you want a solid laptop at a good price.

I bought this computer because my old one broke down. I am an engineering student, so I needed a computer with better graphics and high memory. So far, this laptop has been working great, the refresh rate is nice and very smooth. The ram is on the lower side so it has trouble opening large programs (such as Solidworks), but overall it was a good purchase in short notice.

Had this for about three months. Spent around 50 hours playing Elden Ring. Runs games beautifully at 1080p high settings. It can do 1440p at medium to high settings at 40fps. At 4k you're looking at low settings to get 25fps. Battery life gaming is around 2.5 hours, general use around 6 hours. Doesn't get very hot either.

Awesome laptop, the only downside is the RAM, so I did an upgrade with 2 16GB (total 32GB) of 3200 Hz that I got on Amazon
(Kingston FURY Impact 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 Laptop Memory Kit of 2 KF432S20IBK2/32, Black). It was a cheap upgrate so totally worth it.
I use this laptop to video edit since I am a audiovisual producer.

I bought this for gaming and video editing. It has been great so far. I added a little extra ram that I had laying around to make it 16gb and that really helped. I also added the 1tb NVMe which also adds to it but right out of the box it ran the games fine with little problem.
