My eight year old received this laptop this morning and it’s been blue screen city. It’s not working. I purchased this because I enjoyed the G5 and it worked well. No sound. No clean load. Laggy and glitchy. This machine has not been able to even load into windows on consecutive restarts sans a blue screen forced restart, did a wipe and still trash. Either this is a lemon or it’s truly trash, not sure. RE the image below... What’s there to clean-up, it’s brand new? Eight kernel blue screen errors and ad nauseam of the barcode errors, which I have too, have made me weary of buying Dell moving forward. I’ve had better success with Lenovo. Checked for drivers, Painstakingly. 6 hours later, done. Returning this heap.

My son loved the laptop I bought him and use’s almost every day since I bought it for him

I've been using this computer everyday since January and have not experienced any issues. It runs well, the graphics are great, gameplay is smooth, all in all, it's a great little computer.

I returned this after finding good replacement. I cannot review well for this laptop, but this seems good for beginners of gamers. A little heavy and big comparing to other gaming laptops.

PC itself is working great. Dealing with Best Buy web much better than Dell. From now on will stick with Best Buy especially for Dell products.

This computer has an HDD not a 2nd NVME. Also it has the smaller battery 51w not the 60w. Finaly it does not have ThunderBolt, however it has a 10gb usb-c. Great Laptop for the price, I bought mine from here for 699.99, which is a steal. However, I am woried that the small hinge will ware and break in a few years, if anyone could give a tip I would be much abliged.

Great Laptop for Gaming and school work, my son has really enjoy it.

It's superb for the price range. Starts up super fast. The only thing I would change is to have white lights for the illuminated keyboard which would be easier to see. But its a gamer so red goes with the theme. As a consumer product it compares well to my excellent work laptop, Dell Precision which is much costlier.

Computer technology is ok. 120 hz is impressive, it is fast and easy. However, heating of the keyboard is negative.

My only real issue initially is that the battery life wasn’t great. Overall, I was reasonably satisfied with it until the hinge broke about a month after the one year warranty expired. This was not a daily laptop. Adult only used, once or twice per week on average. I refuse to pay to have it fixed, because I suspect that I’ll be in the same predicament in a year or so when the same thing happens. It’s poorly designed. Just google Dell G3 15 hinge broken and you’ll see that I’m not the only one. Because of the hinge issue, the screen itself is being damaged if I try to open or close it. I would recommend very strongly against the Dell G3 series.

Dell G3 is a good machine at least for what I need. In-store rep was knowledgible and helpful. Ordered this unit as they didn't have anything instore that had the features I wanted. So far I'm pleased with the transaction. Laptop came in within 2 days and I was up and running the following day.

I am very happy with my new Dell laptop. The Geek Squad came and took my information off my old laptop and put it in the new one. There are a few things that seem rather odd but in the long run, it is a very nice computer. Much easier going to Windows 10 than I thought it would be. Dell

Fast doesn't hold alot of games as far as memory but can expand, would buy aagin

This laptop looks great on the surface super cheap but the draw backs from access to internal components is unfortunately difficult. Then to add an insult on top of the this computer has 8ram but wait its two 4gb sticks to make 8gb so if you want to upgrade buy two 8gb ram cards. Also the os is on a m2 which would be great but its the only m2 drive bay then that locks you into a ssd to upgrade memory unless you can reinstall windows on a bigger m2 which is just a hassle. But besides the 3 points of unexpected hurdles this laptop looks sleek for low-mid gaming anything more and you bought yourself a mini jet engine this thing heats up and fans are louder than a vacuum but hey if its cold in your place of use free heater thanks dell.
