I've built custom gaming rigs and have had several other OEM PC's. I mainly use this as my work laptop, but also game on it. My main con is the trackpad on this laptop is horrible! That's easily fixed by just purchasing a mouse which I was going to do anyway and did. I've ran Withcer 3 on medium, Skyrim High, WoW High. Of course this is not going to beat out a 4k display but this laptop gives you a very smooth running and capable laptop. I like it better than the Acer Helios which I previously purchased before this and returned the same week.

I haven't had the chance to use it for a lot of gaming yet, but it does seem very promising. I do wish that it didn't have so many apps for "games" already installed. It took a bit to delete them all. I'm also not a fan of it trying to use the mic to listen to my voice so it can "improve " it's voice recognition. This doesn't interest me at all. Other that these minor things, I'm happy with the purchase.

It's been solid so far, battery life could be better and fan could be a bit quieter but overall not a bad laptop

Great laptop. No issues running high performance games, at the moment playing witcher 3. Only complaint is that it does get hot in certain areas.

Excellent laptop for gaming. So far it had handled all thr games I've thrown at it with power to spare. No heat issues or any sense of lag.

love this laptop.....bought it as open box and thanks to the person that returned it ....this machine runs well. I am running my stream through it.......and no issues. i7 running 16 gigs.....with SSD that runs like a champ

Very good laptop fast easy to upgrade RAM or HDD or Wi-Fi card, but sometime it overheat you need to update bios if it did not work go and exchange with different laptop some time the board does not accept the update

It is a good gaming laptop for that price range. It is a little bit heavy though as most gaming laptops are.

Great performance and graphics are great. The Value has hard to pass up the opportunity to own this.

Good graphics and solid state and hard drive space. No problems about a month in, so we'll see.

The internals on this machine are great. Fast CPU, fast GPU, fast hard drive(nvme), and fast ram. I was impressed with how it performed. I rendered a 3 minute video at 1080p in 1min 7 sec. For the same 4k video, took about 3-4 minutes. This is very acceptable to me for that. I put 32gb of ram in, only 2 slots so needed to remove old and add new. Also added a 1tb SATA ssd drive for storage. This also has USB-3.1 for fast file transfers. Very impressed for a video processing out in the field laptop. Very happy so far. Won't be perfect colors, but good enough to get video out fast, and at around $1000,it is a steal.

This laptop is a winner like gamers on a budget this thing is it. But keep it mind Dell cuts big corners to make things affordable. *The screen isn’t mediocre and 60hz. *The fans are very loud. *The computer feels like cheap flimsy plastic. But not entry level cheap but don’t expect asus quality either. Can’t find much else wrong besides those main 3 points everything else is a steal of a deal.

Excellent laptop with its amazing and blazing Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti graphics card for vivid and vibrant screen displays. Plenty of dedicated RAM memory for multi-tasking projects. High quality and durable built design with a balanced feel for easy carrying. Love the multi-color lighted keyboard and layout design too. Highly recommended.

I bought this computer for college and gaming. It is great for both. The only complaint I have is that the fan is loud. Other than that, I really like this system.

Great gaming laptop, crisp 60hz panel, only cons: heavy, bad battery life when charger is not plugged in.

very happy with this purchase for my 12 year old son, its fast, very easy for him to use and do his home work on, would recommend this one currently.

Functions great, very fast Computer, plays the most current games being released. Keep Graphics settings to medium ranges for optimal performance.

Has the extra Ram and video card required for my sons Engineering class. He loves the speed. Still new so will check back in 6 months from know

My wife purchased this laptop when we were planning on getting the i5-9300H model with the 8GB ram(on sale for 699.99) and when she got to bestbuy she saw this one and figured it was better so she got it instead and this one is the i7-9750h and 16GB ram model on sale for 999.99 and i was amazed she got the better one for me, or so i thought. This laptop runs ok on battery unless you are gaming with it. When you plug it in while playing games it will run the cpu at 90-99*c which it hot. From what i have read a gaming laptop does run hotter than a desktop but usually that would be around 75-85*c at the warmest. I think i'm going to be returning this laptop before i cant just because i would think all the extra heat will ruin it within a year or so. I went through and did all the updates and made sure I had it set. I gave it 3 stars because it is a heck of a nice computer for the price we paid.
