Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the graphics and performance of the G7 15.6" Gaming Laptop, with many praising its ability to run high-intensity games smoothly. However, customers are negative about the heat generated by the laptop, noting that it gets hot quickly even during basic tasks, and some experiencing thermal issues. The fan noise is also a point of concern for some users. Overall, the positive aspects of gaming performance are offset by significant concerns regarding heat and fan noise.

      Hello,

Thank you for taking a moment to share your review. We are sorry to hear that your G7 is running a little warmer than you would like and we would love to help right away. Here are some tips that can help prevent overheating from happening:

Here are the recommended steps for troubleshooting overheating:
      1. Prioritize cooling by opening the Alienware Command Center application and select the 'Cool' thermal profile.

      2. Ensure that you're running the latest BIOS. An out-of-date BIOS can cause thermal's issues. You can download the update here - https://dell.to/2WNIVRw.

We recommend following the steps above to resolve your overheating issue. If the issue continues, please contact our support team here: https://bit.ly/DellSupportTeam.

      Best,
      Wendy C.

This laptop sucks. It has broken down twice in less than a year. I have had it for 3 years and it just randomly goes out.
