I have looked around for a laptop that could handle computer aided design (CAD) programs and still have the ability to play PC games. Found this Dell G7 at a great deal. It has been over a month and this thing is a beast.

The laptop is really amazing. One of the best things it’s about the SSD hard disk it makes the windows faster. The 08 GB of memory you can work very well but with 16 you can get better. My recommendation is a great laptop to work, to make videos and play some games.

my new G7 runs my Autocad and BIM software beautifully.. the keys are all pretty cheap feeling and the space key is already failing after 1.5 months of use.. I’ll see what they can do to remedy and repost the results

I was in the market for a gaming rig but unfortunately, my budget limited my options. After some research, I came across this and I cannot be anymore pleased. I plan on upgrading some things when I can but all in all, very good for the price.

Upgraded some stuff for personal use, but if you’re going to make the mistake to game with a laptop instead of a PC, this is the best option. Make sure your graphics card recognizes games, may have to be done manually, but is awesome overall.

Love the cooling technology and blue keyboard. I have had other dell products and hope this one will be long lived like my other dells. I had other laptops including Asus but they only lasted two years. I sure hope this Dell last more than that.

The dell g7 has the performance your looking for but it's small m.2 drive lacks the need space a monster like this deserves. First thing I did was upgrade memory and drive. Very pleased with this purchase now.

I have had the laptop for about a month now. The unit is powerful for what it is and feels pretty resilient. The only downside I have is that it a bit larger then I wanted but overall it is a great unit.

I will keep this short and sweet. I saw that this laptop had the least powerful GPU that I wanted for my purposes, and the CPU looked like a winner too. I was going for the $1000 price range, had to go slightly over that to get the CPU/GPU combo I wanted. It plays GTA V 45-60 FPS on high-very high settings FHD. You might need more RAM for some of the newest, most demanding games, but you should be able to play them on medium FHD, at least. If you like the design and you want good price for performance, this is a good choice. The only drawback I have encountered, CPU reaching critical temps while gaming with Intel Turbo Boost enabled. Taking a star for that. Still quite powerful with it disabled.

This computer is great. Plays most games with no problems. I don't play hardcore games. Play games like Diablo 3 and Counter-Strike. The computer does great as I am in school for all my school work. I am doing programming.

This computer has been extremely excellent, I have not had any issues even with this being an open box pc. This computer has done excellent with the games and other programs I use That are resource dependent.

This computer might be a year old but it still packs quite a heavy punch. Handle's most games at 60 frames per second minimum and it's just a great addition to any portable gaming rig. Highly recommended.

Would absolutely recommend this laptop to anyone. It’s fast, runs games great, great quality, have had it for about a month now and it’s great. Please be wary to buy an antivirus though but otherwise, don’t hesitate

I wanted a laptop that I could use for gaming, but also for work to take notes, make PowerPoints and be able to use in a professional setting. This laptop could do the job, but I would compare it to having a Klingon as a therapist. It was super loud, so much so that I couldnt have it open in my living room before my wife would start complaining about the noise. Very powerful lil laptop, but I ended up taking it back and getting a MSI Prestige for a few hundred buck more and it was well worth it.

Good graphics, little on the slower side, might as well buy the next model that has the extra drive as you'll need to buy it eventually if you are a hardcore gamer

Definitely a great starter laptop for gaming. Fast processor and works great. Loved using it, now I use it for streaming and recording! It's great.

If you need a laptop that can play most modern titles at medium to high settings then this will meet the demand. Runs fairly cool but a laptop cooler would help for long gaming sessions.

Use this computer for Adobe products and it has handled them very well compared the the previous dual core i5 I had. Game graphics are smooth and price was great. Happy so far!

I have been using it almost daily since the day I purchased. Have not found any erratic behavior in it. Functions as good as day one.

Purchased open box. Computer performances well. Computer was heavy but manageable. Corner are kind of sharp. Retuned for newer model.
