I got a Laptop which is not fixed properly. The outer case was very loose and at times I felt like that would detach from the screen. More over the laptop used to make weird noises and then restart automatically.

I bought this for the perceived quality of the laptop - the cpu, size, weight, resolution, backlit keyboard, etc. The first one I received wouldn't charge. I took it to the nearest Best Buy and the "Geek Squad" technician told me that he had no idea why it wouldn't work. He offered to send me a new charger. I told him that it might be a board problem and he agreed. I asked for a replacement. Now the good news. The return process was painless and relatively fast. I received the second refurbished unit about 5 days later and it has been working well! All in all not a bad experience, and a great laptop at a good price!

I bought this item and had it shipped to me. I had originally this model new but when I saw the refurbished model for a bit cheaper decided to give refurbished laptops a try. As soon as I unpacked it and began setting up my account I noticed that it operated substantially slower than my new one and it was simply a worse overall experience and definitely not worth the price payed. I will continue to only buy new laptops.

Awsome laptop...worth buying..working great and good configuration....

Simply put - I love everything about the machine - thin - lightweight - powerful - fast - great battery life - BUT the back-lit keyboard was a real selling point for me and I must say it is very disappointing. The keys are aluminum in color with white lettering and even when the "back-light" is ON - the keys are still hard to see.

The windows installed would not activate online, there is no way to get it activated as the code is stored in the boot device. Had to return it, which wasted a lot of my time. The geek squad that certified it apparently did not test it completely.

If there was something below one star, this would get it. The Geek Squad shipped this "CERTIFIED" piece of junk without a working OS. Then they told us to order the OS directly from Dell for the Geek Squad to install, but Dell said it would take more than a month for us to get the OS. We returned the computer to Best Buy. Wasted over a week and about three hours of direct time between phone & store. Will NEVER purchase a Geek Squad "certified" computer again. We purchased a brand new computer to replace this piece of junk, and it was NOT another Dell. Go with ASUS or Lenovo. Both are well worth the extra cost.
