With a child starting college this fall she is particularly excited for the 2-in-1 feature. The storage space and memory should be adequate for her needs. Battery life is also excellent.

I especially like the feel of the keyboard as it types smoothly and the battery life is decent. I haven’t asked much performance wise from it, but has been more than adequate for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar applications.

Its huge capacity allows you to have access to several documents simultaneously and by installing Microsoft 365 it is very easy to continue working on the documents without having to copy them to the DataTraveler to take them to the office where I work and continue working, until they are completed. I totally recommend that you get one.

I had been looking for a personal laptop as I had just retired in October and needed to keep up with finances, bills, email and filing of important matters. The price was very competitive and the computers are fast and simple to use.

I Really Wanted To Like It

This one seemed to be the best option for my budget and needs. I caught it on sale and thought I'd gotten a killer deal, but the problems began the day after I set it up. I put it down for a few hours to go to work and when I came back to it, it wouldn't boot. It took physically plugging it into the wall and holding the power button down for a while before it finally loading to a blue screen of death. It seemed to load normally afterwards, but to say it made me wary is an understatement. A few days later the Bluetooth malfunctioned and while trying to fix it in the settings, the laptop gave me another BSOD. Next issue is the battery life. I read review of people getting 8-10 hours. I'm barely pulling 4 on a good day and I'm not doing anything intense, unless a Word document is considered a workload now. It's a nice device, build wise. I've enjoyed how snappy it is when it isn't performing self-deletion for no obvious reason, but I'm probably going to return it. I need a laptop I can rely on and getting two BSOD on a new laptop is hardly reassuring.

1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports viewing a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
