I have not owned a laptop before, so I went to the person in charge and he directed me to the Dell Inspiron. The information he gave me was excellent and when I got home the set up was very easy.

Dell Inspiron 15.6 touch screen laptop

But this is very light weight. Touch screen is very nice, when you dont want to use a mouse. Excellent for a student to do their homework. Excellent price

I called Dell for technical assistance and their advice was to take it back to Best Buy within 30 days of purchase. I took it back to Best Buy on the 16th day after purchase. They were reluctant to take it back and stated that their policy was 15 days. However, the the Best Buy associate made an exception and replaced the the laptop with the same model. So far, the replacement is working well. The original device purchased in July is rated below. It was a gift purchased for my daughter.

Functional with touchscreen

Bought it to have a functional travel computer with a solid state drive, and less bulky than my old one. It is a basic machine, but seems capable of handling most common apps without issue (excel, word, Chrome, pictures, etc), even when you stack a handful of these. I dig the touch screen, it was part of the decision to buy this machine.

Good With a Ram upgrade

Upgrade the ram to 16gb and you will have a quicker machine.

They just randomly wouldn’t work as well. This seems to work well so far. We just needed something fairly basic and wanted something middle of the line. Price was good. We hope it at least lasts 4-5 years to beat our track record.
