Boots up quick and is lightweight and slim. Price is good and Best Buy is awesome. Using only for Office365, email, internet, and solitaire games. Wonderful purchase.

The research andpurchasing process was fairly easy and simple. I reviewed the selrction, cost and availability and chose thw Dell Inspiron. So far my choice has been the right one.

I purchased my Dell-Inspiron 15.6" laptop at the Slidell, LA Best Buy, and I am extremely satisfied with this product. This is the 3rd Dell product I have owned.

This is a powerhouse of a laptop. Plays games very well. I didn't realize that it didn't have a 10 key pad. Which makes no sense, because there is room for them to have added it.

The is a great student and every day pc user laptop. It replaced my 15 year old Dell Inspiron E1505 that still works but the software is extremely outdated. Windows XP

I love it! Fast, screen is easy on the eyes and large, keyboard is light to touch, love the black. Can't say anything bad about!

The sales rep was extremely helpful.He spent lot time going over different computers explaining everyone until we found a perfect fit . I was very impressed with him.

not a bad laptop manufactures specs and settings didn't really aww me or win me over for the price ya can not beat it. I ended up taking it back.

What you see is what you get! There were no 'mis'prises. I explained what I wanted - was sent over to geek and the rest is history I came away very pleased

It was decent while it worked. Got this for my son for school. It started out well, but the power port soon started to wiggle and it wasn't wanting to charge. I was surprised because he only charged it on his desk. If he took it to school, he unplugged it and didn't take the plug, so i didn't think he was keeping it in an odd angle or anything. I looked it up and it's quite common. The power port is plastic and only has 1 screw holding it in, so it's not uncommon for it to get loose or wiggle. This causes it to not make a good connection when plugged in and not charge. I don't think he had it 3 months before this happened. It was easy enough to fix so I ordered a part and didn't bother with the warranty. I didn't want to box it up and have to ship it out. I usually don't advsie people get something with less than 16M RAM, but for basic stuff, we figurfed it would be ok for the kiddo. We already had a gaming machine, so this was for homework, email, and maybe videos. Worked well while it worked. Would not reccomend. I've had a number of other name brands that I've never had an issue like this. There was one other name brand that I don't use anymore, "back in the day" Dell was a pillar, a standard to hold others. Now I'm putting them in the avoid pile for a few years.

This is a great computer. It helps me to organize my information and keeps me in order.

Was told could transfer all my old data to new laptop. Not true, couldn't transfer anything that has passwords which is just about everything. Kept it overnight but not much accomplished. Took back a second time but my passwords wouldn't work even thou they work on my HP. Had Geeks come out but couldn't get it to connect to internet. No passwords worked. After he left I was able to get it to connect to internet. The gentleman who came was very nice and tried his best but without the wi-fi password he couldn't do anything.

It is okay, expected a better body not the plastic body. Only problem with my last model that screen broken in 10 months. Now I have a new 2nd Dell, hopefully it will last.

Great laptop, light, easy to set up and use. The fan isn’t loud as I read, the keyboard is well laid out and the number keypad is a bound! Very happy with our purchase.

I bought this laptop for a friend, who wanted a good specked laptop for work use. This one has the works, and it was a good deal as an open box item. Good value for the price.

Terrible laptop. Power jack broke after just a few months. Asked Dell to replace it, but they refused saying that it was "wear and tear" not covered by the warranty. Looking for a replacement part on Amazon, I noticed that over 10 of the top 50 selling replacement parts on Amazon were Dell power jacks, and none from any other brand. I brought this to the attention of Dell customer service, but they still refused to send me a new replacement part (despite it being a relatively cheap part). A couple of months later, I started getting ghost taps on my screen. Customer service ran some diagnostics which indicated no issue, so they said it was a software issue, and I would have to send it in for repair. However, I the issue persisted even after I did a factory reset, so hard to believe that it's a software issue, unless it's a result of upgrading from windows 10 to 11, so I'll have to try it back on 10. Now, I'm having issues with the screen flickering and going haywire any time it is moved at all. And finally, the battery life is very poor, and the system gets slow / laggy.

If you want a great computer for a great price, this is the computer for you. Does everything I need without having to spend a fortune on a laptop.
