Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered online and after receiving it, was disappointed to find that it was equipped with Windows 10S, which will not let you download any programs that don't come from the Microsoft Store. But I read that it was a simple process to switch to Windows Home for free, so I used it in S-mode for about 10 days and decided that I liked most of the laptop's other features. The display was very sharp and clear, everything else seemed satisfactory. So I then decided to switch over to Windows Home. After a couple of unsuccessful tries, I was finally able to switch it over. I then tried to download Chrome browser, but the laptop refused to do it. It said that it was downloading, but after waiting 15 minutes, it showed that it still had 46 minutes to go to complete the download. Downloading Chrome to previous laptops took me less than 30 seconds. I then tried downloading Mozilla Firefox. Same thing. That's a deal-breaker. I have no use for a laptop that can't download any programs that don't come through Microsoft. I ended up getting a Gateway instead that has twice as much RAM, twice as much SSD capacity, AND comes with Windows 10 Home installed, for just $30 more than the Dell. Do not buy this laptop (or any laptop that comes with Windows 10S), you will regret it. 10S is a total scam.
