This laptop is (almost) perfect. Amazing FPS and even at its hottest is much cooler than high end laptops. The case is good quality, and the only drawback is not having a full HD screen to enjoy the awesome gaming you can do on this machine. It still gets five stars for doing everything it claims to do.

Type is not ideal and the track pad is not responsive when clicking and moving

The rear panel is problematic. The little tabs that hold it in break off too easily and both of my sons' computers are now held together with duct tape. One boy's computer just wouldn't turn on one day. After a lot of talking on the phone and removing and replacing of batteries, Dell finally agreed to let us send it in for servicing. Once the shipping label was delivered by email, service was quite impressive. I send it in on Dec 16 and had it back on Dec 29...better turnaround than I had expected given the Xmas season. My other son says that he is having trouble with his charger, so I bought a cheap replacement on Amazon. Just seems that there shouldn't have been these problems in such a short amount of time. I gave 3 stars because of the quick turnaround on in-warranty servicing. I don't know that I would buy this computer again though.

As a college student, I use this laptop for both my gaming and learning needs. The graphics and speed of the computer is stellar. The only "problem" I could see people possibly encountering is the laptop not having enough memory, however this is an easy fix by purchasing an external hard drive.

The customer service was great. Delivered on time as expected. Although a bit disappointed because for the price, other than the operating system, you don't get any useful free software. You have to buy basic software. Otherwise, it is a good laptop for a college a student.

The machine was nice but coming from mostly all apple laptops for the last 10 years this was just too far of a jump DOWN in quality for me to withstand. The machine was "ok" but build quality just doesn't compare to an apple laptop. The display was flimsy and couldn't be opened without the display flexing and bending. The entire laptop is coated in that terrible soft touch junk they used to coat cell phones with back in the day (which they quit doing because the coating peels off in time......DELL!!). It looks nice and feels nice but it turns the entire machine into a fingerprint and oil display. The GTX 1050 was adequate for mobile gaming but combined with the weight and all the build quality stuff I ended up returning the machine. (as an aside it was open box but I don't see why that really matters)

Recommended by sales associate based on my needs for a gaming laptop that doubles as a school device as well. Fits the bill and has beautiful output. Probably not the most technical review for techies, but as a Mom it would work for me if I was looking for the same.

After updating boot. System got errors. Have to restore it.

Needed to replace laptop for son. This accommodated my needs for a reliable work/class laptop but offered enough power for his gaming (more than I'd hoped actually :-)

We bought this for gaming, but also to double as a college laptop. On initial setup, it worked fine - till we used google search, then it froze! Restarted it after awhile, but it stayed frozen. So, we had to return it.

I was getting tired of squinting at my IPAD and wanted a laptop for casual couch gaming and surfing. For the price it is fine. Not a replacement for a my main gaming laptop but for games not requiring a lot of graphic power it is fine. Screen is only adequate.

Trying to figure out if it is the program or the computer that the cursor jumps around without me moving it and I end up typing up words or numbers wrong. Sometimes goes backwards and sometimes the cursor goes forward. Frustrating when trying to type in passwords.

Soooo, I just this gaming laptop today and installed the antivirus, windows update and steam. And my biggest problem is why is it my laptop keeps restarting?? Is this broken or something or what? I need help bestbuy!! It happened more than 4 times

I am very happy with this new computer...I looked for several months. Was researching several different types. This one went on sale and I bought it...It is better quality than my daughter's expensive gaming laptop and was $300 less..

This pc is giving me headaches since day one,, when I contacted Dell they told me motherboard needs to be replaced so I when back to the store and exchanged it for another one... After a month of use this other one starts freezing up and randomly shutting down for no reason, I contact Dell and after many many test and back and forth they say this computer needs to be repair so they asked me to send it for repair, but really after all this headaches I just regret the moment I bought this machine, if I had a second chance I WILL NEVER BUY THIS PC!!! wont risk your money on this model!!! go for another one unless you are willing to take the RISK!!!

This computer has allowed me to continue my gaming while providing a fast and excellent platform for any other programs I use on a regular basis. The red back lighting for the keyboard is quite a nice touch in a darker room.

This laptop performs very well for its price point even with an older 7th gen processor. It is also very easy to upgrade storage by adding an additional hard drive and more ram with just unscrewing one screw.

Great little laptop. Only downsides are some buggy details with the speaker (not really huge for me because I use headphones) and the inability to run over 60Hz on an external monitor due to HDMI port limitations.

This was a great purchase offering premium specifications for a bargain price. It's a great device for any young gamers with smaller budgets and for casual gamers. Additionally, it has great build quality and looks.

As a engineering college student, this computer works extremely well. Gave it a 4 star only because I had to personally update drivers. Amazing, very satisfied.
