Touch pad is too sensitive. It'll change zoom at it's desire when you least expect it.

Purchased for my daughter to use for school (and games). Easy to use and works great!

While I did have some issues with my other Dell in the last coupleo f years, apparently having a laptop (the same one ) for more than a few years is an accomplishment. So I had no qualms purchasing another Dell.

Went to Best Buy to get my Toshiba fixed with its Vista operating system. For the same price to fix the Toshiba, I could get a brand new laptop with an up-to-date operating system. Since the Toshiba was 8 years-old approximately, this seemed like a good. deal. Unfortunately the operating system is Windows 10. It is a nightmare. I've taken the laptop back to Best Buy Geek Squad at least 4 times and have only had the laptop maybe 6 weeks. One time was for malware. Webroot had protected the Toshiba, but evidently couldn't the Dell laptop. Frankly, I regret my decision to purchase a new laptop instead of fixing my Toshiba. On the plus side, the Geek Squad personnel were very helpful. They get an A+.

Does what is needed at a decent speed. Great for streaming and doing course work.

Great deal for the price and for the novice user .

This computer was slow right outta the box and continued to get worse. I was very busy when I first bought it and was unable to take back to store. I was hoping it was slower than what I was use to because it was an inexpensive computer, ~$349. However, it kept getting slower & slower, eventually getting stuck in a start up loop. About day 62, I Called Best Buy. They basically told me I was Out of luck and to call Geek Squad. Called Geek Squad and they wanted $50 to discuss the problem. The Geek Squad rep was sounded very unsympathetic & very unprofessional. Firstly, they should sell reliable products. Secondly, provide a better warranty & service. I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. You've lost a customer.

This is the third Dell Inspiron laptop we bought. This statement says everything.

Finding laptop difficult to use; came with minimal instructions; used to desktop.

I like it, Not for gamers or those who stream a lot, but good basice laptop.

This computer seems to work well, however it is very slow when booting up

This is a great budget computer, but the screen is not the best. Darker colors change brightness if you look at the screen from to low or high of an angle. Text is not as sharp as high end laptops. The speed of the computer is fast enough for the average user due to the 5th generation i3 processor.

This laptop is exactly what I need to start my new job as an educator.

Recently had the old desktop computer die after a power outage and looked to replace it with a laptop. It is a great computer for home use made even better with the recent Windows 10 upgrade.

I have only had this laptop for a week, but I have been able to download all the games and applications I use and have yet to use up even half of the available disk space. It is wonderful.
