I wont buy Dells again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this review after owning this laptop for about 2 years. The cord went out within the first 6 months - both the port and the cord itself and it had to go back to Texas for repair during the hurricane in 2017. Recently - the past 6 months - I've had to keep it plugged in in a single location because its happening again and I just don't want to deal with trying to fix it while I wait to replace it when I can afford to. And when I do - it wont be a Dell. We have other Dells in the house with similar power related problems. Buyers beware.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even if it is i3 7gen it is very slow I think it is because of the cheap hardware

Slow Hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer has a painfully slow hard drive. After having it for several months and no one wanting to use it, and past the point of return, ended up swapping out the hard drive for solid state. Turns out the HHD was the slowest one on the market. After this change to SSD it works great, and is used frequently.

Great if you don't mind a slow processor
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought out of convenience. After owning this laptop for more than two years I have quickly changed my position on owning a laptop. Don't buy a laptop out of convenience. To be critical, the battery doesn't last that long (like 9 months) and the processor is incredibly slow.

Very Quick - Excellent Laptop Overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially hesitant to purchase this laptop because there were no reviews on Best Buy's website. However, I needed an upgrade from my HP laptop and wanted something affordable with good performance. This Dell laptop fit the bill nicely. I bought it for the sale price of $329.99 during Best Buy's Tax Time Tech Sale. The 15.6 touchscreen is bright and crisp, displaying HD videos with amazing clarity. The touchscreen is also quite responsive, perfect for playing Candy Crush and other similar games. The 1 TB of storage space is big, able to readily store downloaded videos from Netflix and other streaming websites. The 6 GB of RAM has ensured that my laptop runs quickly with minimal lag. I haven't encountered any issues so far and love this laptop. Dell certainly makes great products. If you want an affordable yet high-performing laptop, this would be perfect for you.

It is bit slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's kind of ok Laptop. The finishing is rough and you feel like you're using some cheap laptop. There is just one led light for on/off indicator and that too in an odd position. The display doesn't look great as it is not 1080P. Overall it is an average laptop . may be ok for basic users.

Didn't last four months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop after being a dedicated HP owner for years. Not only did it start having connectivity issues after 3 months, but a couple if weeks after I contacted tech support, I went to boot it up and got a screen that said "no bootable devices detected". I couldn't do anything, not even get into BIOS. When I contacted customer support I was told that the laptop needed to be sent to a repair depot, where the faulty parts were to be replaced by refurbished parts. So if it had further problems from the replacements, they would only be covered if the product was still under warranty, and that in the future I should buy directly from Dell because they can't guarantee what retailers stock. Terrible first experience with Dell and a very expensive paper weight.
