It's alright
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop a week before I moved out of the country last year so that I could have a new laptop that wouldn't break while I was living out of the country for a year. My hope was that I wouldn't have any problems with it but unfortunately that didn't happen. First off, the keyboard broke within the first month and a half of having it. I was able to get that fixed then a couple of months later the charger port on the actual laptop broke and I had to pay a lot of money to get it fixed because Dell said it was my fault it broke even though I did nothing to cause the break. With these things happening within the first first months of me having this laptop, I am really turned off of wanting to get another Dell computer and I am already looking for a new one. This laptop is also very heavy. I hadn't realized how heavy it was until I started traveling with it and it was a little rough. It is also pretty big and would only fit in one of my backpacks. The speakers are not the best as well. They don't get very loud and I would find myself having to strain to hear certain parts in movies or shows that I was watching. On the other hand, the usage for this computer has been good. I haven't had any problems surfing the internet, watching Netflix, or anything like that. Sometimes it would freeze up if I was trying to do to much.

Great Base Computer

It replaced my $1200 Macbook Pro n I could not be happier. 1 Tb Hdd ensures no upgrade in size needed any time soon. Touch screen is convienient. 6 Gb of ram is good for windows 10. Not many cons, Ram only upgradeable to 8 Gb, No Wifi AC and only 1 usb 3.0 port.

Initially I was thinking about returning it for a better one. However, it seems to be running better now. One day I'll probably just buy a really good one. However I have been buying this range of computer for many years. Overall this computer is just good. Most of my other computers that I've have owned in this price range have been easily this good in all aspects. I believe the reviews have been much better than what the product is. This computer is just average good in its abilities. As long as it holds up for what I paid I will be pleased. But we will see. I think next stop will just be a high-end one. I hope this review helps. I do recommend this computer as long as you can get it in the low $300 before taxes.
