My Dell laptop, purchased in 2017, continues to impress me with its durability and reliable performance. The sleek design and impressive processing power make it a timeless investment. Even after all these years, it's running smoothly, proving the lasting quality of Dell products.

The good: Laptop is inexpensive, memory can be upgraded, looks and feels modern and rugged, perfect for a student or someone who doesnt need a top of the line model with a budget in mind. Lots of storage! Bad: Screen isnt the best, but it wont kill you. Battery could be a little better as well, but if your using it plugged in is no problem. It lags sometimes, which may be an internet issue and not the computers fault. and a backlit keyboard would have been a killer add on. Overall a great buy for a great price.

I got this laptop for 329$ and it is working great for me (not a gamer). The battery is very good, the display and touch screen are impressive. I rate it 4 because it doesn't have speed enough to run multitask at the same time. I would say if you have a limited budget and you need laptop for basic daily working, go and get this one !

If I could give it a 3.5 star, that'd be more accurate. However, I feel slightly more inclined to give it a 4 than a 3 (since again I can't do 3.5). This laptop is pretty decent for the price. The touchscreen is an added bonus. It does the basics, and that's what I needed it for. However. If my situation were different, I wouldn't have opted for a touchscreen. It's a niche. I'm not sure why lower-end laptops always go this route. I'm certainly sure it would be even more affordably without one. (I'm sure the touchscreen was added to wow the technical novice.) The Ethernet port (aka the wired internet port) is only 100 Mb Really? That's cheaping out. Considering the year, it's stock with Windows 10. It's quite likely the issues I face (and future problems I've yet to) are due to Windows 10. You also don't have the option to downgrade, as it's a 7th gen i3 (or 7th gen processor in general). As much as the performance is decent, it struggles often. Doing basic tasks such as browsing or Netflix, for no apparent reason. Boot time isn't great either. Despite it being more entry-level, it should rarely struggle to perform entry-level tasks. But again, considering my use (and especially what the average user expects), it's not bad. I'd definitely buy it again. Just manage your expectations and know you may well get frustrated months in. Throw an SSD in this if you can, as the hard drive is the biggest problem (the aforementioned performance problems). Barely medium-level tasks will completely consume the hard drive.

I use this laptop for school, and personal use, and it works amazingly! I have quite a few games on it, ie Minecraft, Don't Starve, GTA IV, GTA V, Kerbal Space Program, Spore, The Sims 3, and a few others, They all work great, GTA IV and V do lag of course, but they're still playable! It's light weight too, and It fits nicely into a backpack. The only things I don't like are that the speakers are near the bottom, and the battery life is only a few hours, other than that, It's nearly the perfect computer. Well worth the price! I intend to take this to college with me as well! I highly Recommend!

Great laptop for a decent price, Lots of space for storage. Touch screen is amazing. The laptop became slower with time but restoring the setting gives it a boost again.

It has a plastic body which makes it light. Good performance. Display has touch screen. Its great value for money. Only drawback I found was 1 USB 3 port. Had there been 2, I would have rated it excellent.

I definitely scored with this laptop. I got it for $299 on sale. Can't really get these kinda features + touch screen for this kinda money. It has all the features I was looking for in a laptop. I like it a lot. I needed a laptop for school and daily usage . The touch screen is very responsive. The touch pad with the built in buttons takes some getting used to. A part from that it's all good.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THE KEYBOARD AND THE SPEAKER. Both of them work perfect and I have no trouble with any delay at all. They probably were listening to music with a jackhammer going on in the background and then set up a delay method system for the keyboard because they don't know what they are doing. This is a perfect business class laptop with a very good price tag.

I bought an HP but hated it & exchanged it for a Dell. Love it so far. It's fast. I needed a reliable laptop for school. Excellent & on sale! The touchscreen seems pointless but it seems like a fun feature!!

Got it on sale for $300 & has better features than others @ that price, so far I'm happy with it

I looked at several laptops in the store but this was the best bang for my buck! has been great so far

I got brand new product and when unboxing and finishing all the setup, i was disappointed to see that speaker did not work!. Moreover performance of the system was very poor. I contacted the Dell support and spent 3+ hours on troubleshooting but no help. All driver software got updated and the entire system is reset, Still could not make speaker to work. I gave up finally and planning to return the product. (I am referring to the speaker in built with the system) I would not recommend the product to my friend. If you never want to miss this system, then I would prefer anyone to buy openBox with Certified/Excellent.

If you want a cheap laptop for basic tasks, this should do the job, but not much more than that. It's slow to boot up and open programs. The speakers are absolute junk, you would think after all these years that Dell would figure out that having them on the bottom of the computer is a horrible spot because the sound gets trapped when you set it on your lap. I wish they would have foregone the utterly useless touch screen and made improvements else where. The only thing I like about this laptop is the keyboard was designed perfectly. The keys are spaced perfectly to type with.

After awhile keyboard does not work and have to change laptop to tablet mode to use on screen keyboard!

This is the slowest computer ever, I have just two days with this laptop and I cant believe how slow it is, can't do anything, if I open word it takes for ever, my internet explorer freezes with just two tabs, I haven't installed anything else and I cant imagine how slow will be if I want to install something. Keyborard doesn't have light. Will return this as soon as I finish this review. Don't know why the comments about this laptop are good and they says it is fast but its not.
