Easy to use . I thought i wouldnt like switching from my Mac . But this is nice

This computer is a workhorse of a computer. Very sturdy and well made, dependable performance and more than enough capability. Basically perfect for a college student!

Grandpa wanted to update his computer and wanted it to be touchscreen and have windows 10. Computer shipped fast, the touch screen worked better than expected. Loved the features of windows 10 and how much faster this computer is than his previous one.

Actually, shipped this out to mexico for a family member and was able to download everything in spanish. This laptop was a lot of fun just setting up I thought about getting one for myself. Very user friendly and had a good charge on it when I used it.

Works great. Just what I needed to get work done and send emails. Thanks.

I purchased this dell and was a little concerned with the capabilities of the laptop. I wanted something for school that will allow me to access tools and programs that were unable to be opened on my chrome book. This laptop exceeded my expectations. It's fast it's easy to navigate and the new windows system made it very accessible for my classwork and the many programs we are told to access weekly

I was looking to purchase a laptop to replace my previous computer, which was no longer functional. This Dell computer met the criterea that felt I needed to accomplish everything that I use my computer for. The computer was on sale and fit my budget. I was a little hesitant about the purchase, because it was my first time working with Windows 10. I have discovered however, that it has been relatively easy to transition from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I purchased the Geek Squad support plan, and they have been extremely helpful. The computer does not seem to get hot, as some do. The only problem that I have found, is that it is particularly sensitive and when I am composing, the icon will often jump. This is the only reason why I gave the computer 4 Stars, instead of 5 Stars. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Okay, so I am a dinosaur, but I have held onto my desktop computer because I find it easier and faster to use than laptop or hand-held devices. I held onto my last one until it turned on me and began sabotaging my files. Hubby insisted a laptop would be a better choice, but still I held out, paying to have my desktop repaired until it practically declared allegiance to the enemy. I was grateful my files were backed up in the cloud. Reluctantly I brought home my new laptop, sure it would never compete with a desktop in quality and speed. It surprised me. Some things I do are indeed slower, but as I become more comfortable with the keyboard, I am improving speeds. For other processes, the combination of keyboard and touch screen means I may soon be even faster with equally high production quality. I like my laptop better every day.

Thru the years I been an HP guy, this is my first Dell and have to said is nice, good speed, great sound and touch screen a plus. Batteries last about 4 hours not bad,only thing is the weight is on the heavy side but with a good bag is OK.

Let's start with... THE UGLY: Cheap plastic casing all around. (expected for price) Housing unsnaps just by picking up one-handed. THE BAD: Within 3 months the Toshiba Hard Drive Completely FAILED as the laptop sat motionless and while TURNED OFF!! The Error Code translated to Your Data Is Only Safe For A Brief Moment!! THE GOOD: I found out DELL's Bios Based Diagnostics Program is pretty amazing. Along with their Support Matrix. Took a picture of the Error Code (not sure why) I ran out, grabbed a different, faster, better HDD... Installed it with fresh copy of Windows and finish my project on time. Then called Support and with the aforementioned code, got the skinny on recovery and a new HDD on the way with a Shipping Label to return defective drive. *Of course I'm bettin' all the horses this kind of customer service is available with "non-budget" DELL Laptops also. **Ironically, I also believe with a "non-budget" DELL Laptop I would've never found out about this wonderful customer service.

Use this strictly for work and works great, better then I imagined

My son is really glad about his birthday gift! I though that he was going to be complaining , but he loved his laptop! and he is 18 years old! :) And also because this computer has a touch screen, is fast, reliable and NOT expensive!

Computer is very nice and easy to start with. Going from Vista to Windows 10 is kind of daunting, but we'll get there. Good basic computer for my fairly limited and uncomplicated use. Plenty of storage for pictures and other keepsakes!

I purchased the Dell Inspiron as an "Open Box" for a GREAT Price! I loved the laptop, the problem was the adapter/charger sold by Best Buy didn't work and I ended up calling Dell directly to order an adapter/charger. Well, come to find out I also needed a new battery for the computer and Best Buy wasn't willing to replace it, so I returned my laptop!

Having a computer that has 8 GB memory is a plus due to not having to go back and delete several information or compressing files in order to be able to work more. The size is also a plus if you have to wear glasses by being able to increase the size of the letters and at the same time being able to read the whole page without having to move the page up or down. great item.

Purchased new laptop when my old screen cracked. This laptop was able to help me upgrade and provided enough memory to transfer all important data needed from old laptop. Easy to use and touch screen is awesome.

This computer is fast enough, though I haven't had a new computer for four or five years. Works great on the go. I needed it to finish online school projects while traveling away from my desktop. The touch screen is helpful. Screen is vivid, had many people look over at it during my project creation. Decent laptop. I am very happy with it and it was in my price range.

Everything works great, the size is nice and weight is low. The machine runs well after using for 2 weeks now. I cannot give it 5 stars because it is not the best available, but it is a great product for this price range.

This Dell is a great basic laptop with 6gb or ram and a core i3 processor you can handle the most common tasks such as web browsing, media consumption, and productivity. The only place for improvement would be the screen.
