Also purchased this because I thought it would be faster than 2009 laptop. It is not. Otherwise, works fine for what I need.

Good for medium internet activity, but can run slow with multiple windows and applications open (Music, video, windows, etc..) Still for such a low price, you can pretty much do what you need to do on this laptop.

When sent for repair last time took over 10 days and they never put my virus protector back on. Now it wont charge..Its not the charger so once again 10 days plus by dtr has no computer for school....

The difference was significant to warrant the extra $100. This model would stutter a lot while loading web pages and doing other tasks in the background.
