Purchase this laptop during the Black Friday sale. Very good laptop for the price.

Yes it is good . But so so . As i expected it is not but i am satisfied .

Good working laptop. Fast and efficient for work and just browsing

We bought this as a gift for my daughter and she really loves it! Uses it all the time. We did have to buy an anti virus. The computer almost got a virus, but luckily my husband is good with computers and was able to shut it down and purchase an anti virus before it messes anything up!

You know what they say, you get what you pay for. I got this Thursday night for the sale price of $299. Had a $100 gift card which cut the price by 1/3 so why not for $199. I can't imagine paying $429 for this setup and I would argue if it is even worth $299. The good: - Lots of memory; - A huge amount of disk space; - A nice big screen; - Laptop is sleek and stylish. The bad: - Speed. I know this was a cheap laptop but this thing is really SLOW. The Hard disk speed is only 5900 RPM and the CPU is only 1.9 GHz and only dual core with hyper-threading. There is no turbo boost, this is as fast as it gets. In fact, the system choked when installing Trendmicro antivirus (a freebie that came with the laptop purchase) so I installed something more reliable. - Resolution: The large screen is wasted by only being 1366x768. It could easily have been a 1080p screen. - Design: There are no lights on the laptop except for the lower left corner when it is plugged in and charging. So there is no light for when it is powered on and no light for disk activity. So the only way to tell if it is doing something is open the task manager. - Network: The built-in Ethernet is only 10/100. No gigabit which is disappointing. That speed should be commonplace now even on entry level laptops. I debated on whether or not I should return this laptop but it has kind of grown on me. I am just using it to get Windows 10 experience. This laptop is good for anyone who just wants to check email, surf the web, word processing, image editing and watching video. Not recommended for gaming or video editing. First things first, uninstall all the trialware and bloatware that is preinstalled and get a real antivirus. I might swap out the hard drive for an SSD to give it some more speed if it's compatible.

It is too slow with windows 10. It might be better with windows 7.

Computer seems fine. Getting used to Windows 10 is the challenge.

Still not set up. Need to buy new modem to connect to Internet, new cables to connect to large monitor and to printer. Is adding another $100 to purchase price. Friend bought new laptop day before me and he had no issues. Wish I had asked more questions before buying this 'good deal'.

Christmas gift for family member (Baby Boomer) who finally joined the world of the Internet. So far they are very happy with the computer because it serves the purpose for reading emails and surfing the web. This model does not have backlit for the keyboard. User wishes it did.

touchpad is not that much efficient. Rest is okay for beginner.

Right out of the box new and it's loaded with malware and trojan viruses. Took me better part of a day getting it cleaned up and running internet properly. Once I got rid of the issues it is now running fine. I just don't understand how this can happen with a supposedly new product.
