Wish th screen was brighter. Start up was easy no major issues

This was purchased as a Christmas gift, it has now been shipped back to Dell twice. It is the end of January and it is still out for repair, the longest the computer has been used is the several hours each time troubleshooting with tech support The first time it was believed the wrong screen had been installed in it, the second time it did not have any sound. The parts that are needed to repair it are not immediately available so we wait. Dell claims the computer has to be sent back five times before it considers replacing it, it has been out for repair for a month, and we do not know when it will be returned.

The 3 star product rating is deceiving on this one. The reviews are misleading, not the product. I guess people aren't exactly sure what "My PRODUCT Rating" means. Customer service, store service, online service, availability and anything that doesn't have to do with the product itself is not a product rating. Annnyywaaaayy... I had woke up Thursday morning to find they were sold out online. I didn't cry about it as I know most sales work this way. Not just Black Friday sales, but all sales are limited to supply. So I drove down to my local Best Buy to see if I could beat the line of crazy people to get one. I waited for the line to disperse inside before heading in. Sure it was wall to wall people but I made my way over to the line where they had them, waited about 15 minutes to get to the front and picked one up. I was in and out in less than a 1/2 hour. I wish I could have grabbed a couple of these as I wanted one for each of my kids but it was limited to 1 per person. I was going to buy one off Amazon's Black Friday this morning and what to my wondering eyes should appear at BestBuy.com? It was back in stock and available for pick up today! So I just bought another one from Best Buy and will be heading over after work to grab it. This was by far the best deal I could find. Amazon has a similar one, almost identical to this one but only comes with a 128GB hard drive which in today's age is enough for an operating system and a game or 2. It's a Dell, has a DVD drive, a 1 TB HD and touch screen. What more could you ask for at such a great price?! I opened up the one bought last night and it's a sleek little laptop. The keys have a nice feel to them and it boots up pretty fast. Touchscreen is great, very responsive and my 10 year old daughter is going to have an easy time transitioning from her tablet and Chromebook to this.

It may be that I have just become too used to the higher resolution screens, but the screen on this is just too low a resolution for me to use. All the other features of the laptop were good enough that I would have been happy with it, if not for the screen.

I bought this Dell Insperon on Black Friday and thought I was getting a pretty good deal. But, as I tried to use the machine, the power supply would not charge the battery on a consistent basis. I went into the Geek Squad and they replaced the power cord and power module. BUT, once again, the machine was no good. So, I was forced to return it. AND, the good deal I got for Black Friday was in the past. I had to settle for a machine was from a different manufacturer with 1/2 the RAM memory. So, after all is said and done, this Dell just didn't make the grade.

Have it now for over a year still with every dollar

have bought this as black friday deal and hey works well worth the money as long as we maintain them properly. had few batttery issues this year and need to get that repaired.

This is a good laptop for basic users. The Windows 10 experience is pretty good & I didn't face any problems with it so far. It's a great deal for the price but one thing I didn't like is the mediocre 720p display that it comes with.

Configuration wise it's a good laptop. Bit bulky so can be used at home but not while traveling. Display is very bad low resolution with poor color definition. I returned mine on very first day of opening it because of display issue.

After the 4th year started slowing down, and network card started losing connectivity. Touch screen, overall still works - great given the harsh use of my teenaged sister

I have owned the laptop for a month. Now I noticed that it is noisy whenever it starts running. The dvd drive is even noisier, plus sometimes it does not read at all. The only way to get it working is to reboot the laptop.

I bought this computer for my son and his girlfriend for Christmas. Bought at the Lufkin, TX store. My son had to take to the Best Buy in Bastrop, TX because it did not work. This was an open box item. The Geek squad had put their tape seal on the box stating everything was okay. It was never taken off demo mode and then went to a black screen at the Bastrop store. I ended up spending another $300 plus dollars to get my son a good working computer. So can not write a review on the product but the Lufkin store is poor on service. Very disappointed in a chain store I have spent a lot of my hard earn money.

Really the worse laptop I ever had: the power cord falls all the time, mouse doesn't work properly, very hard to scroll - I had HPs before and never experiences such problems. In general all set up not a user friendly, even cannot open all sites I need. This is the first and for sure the very last Dell product I've ever bought. So bad that I have to get rid of this and buy the normal one although I'm using it just for few weeks. Bought it on sale but it's complete waste of money
