Great laptop for a college student. All the necessities I need. Light weight and easy to set up. Bought this after having a 15 in laptop, wanted something lighter to carry around campus.

I purchased this laptop for casual use only. Everything worked flawlessly on setup with Windows and the laptop itself. It picked up WiFi and Bluetooth with no problems. The startup speed is sufficient. The battery life is less than 8 hours. What impressed me the most it's super quiet. Also, no heat from the bottom of the laptop when placed on my lap. The only minor annoyance is the mouse track pad. I hate the loud click sound when pressing on it to navigate Windows but the touch screen takes care of that problem - wiping off the finger smudges. I still like using the portable mouse.

I use this 2 in 1 to run a tax software and it doesn't bulge one bit when I'm navigating through the software !!! The battery life is awesome and I give it a A++++ .

So, it's my fault I had to return the machine to Best Buy. I didn't realize that the SSD was only 128GB. It's just way too small to be very practical. However, the time I did play with it before deciding to return it, I was really impressed. It has a cool rubbery feel to the case so you are less likely to drop it. Everything felt solid and it was very quiet. I think it would be a great choice for someone who doesn't need very much hard drive space.

it's my 2nd Dell, this is the best, fast and great battery life, runs smoothly, perfect for my needs.

Got this from Best Buy ..Anyway my 2 major issues are the screen there is a lot of Light Bleed alll around the corners when the laptop first boots up you can really see it it's horrible watching Netflix anything with a dark bark ground you can see the Light Bleed.Other issue might be just my unit I noticed at the top of the mouse pad where it connects to the keyboard that strip in between looks pushed in /bent..Part of the strip between keyboard an mouse was kinda popping up on the right side so I pushed down on it an it seemed to bend down a little..Kinda Garbage QC on Dell part...Anyway I'm returning mine besides the 2 isssues this thing runs Fast an smooth...

The only complaint I have is that it seems to be slightly lagging, but I'm sure I can fix this. For a college student like myself this computer is phenominal. Not too flashy, but just simple enough to get what I needed done. I would have rather had an i5 processer instead of an i3, but this is still a great buy.

I have been very impressed with the speed of this laptop and especially the build quality. Really good hardware for the price, too.

I had to make an account just to give this product 1 star, not being a pain or anything. I bought this laptop last year just for school since it's easier to carry around than most lap tops. However, after around 3-4 months, the laptop started doing random shutdowns 5-6 times a day, I took it to best buy for them to look at it, they said since I didn't have the protection plan they couldn't help me out, which makes sense,so I had to restart my laptop and lost everything. Then some buttons on the left side of the keyboard stopped working after 8-9 months, even thought i used my laptop mostly for lecture slides in school. Overall, it was great in the beginning but it looks like it won't last more than a year or 2 for my laptop.

Too heavy for what I was looking for. It is for my wife to use for work which she has to carry it with her. Over a half pound heavier than described and this is a BIG difference! Best Buy needs to fix this in the description and the specifications! And no, I am not reviewing the wrong computer like people often do. This review is for the 13.3 Inspiron i3 with 128G SSD hard drive 8gb memory. I ordered it online and knew right when I took it out of box it was over 3 lbs. I have a very accurate mailing scale and my current computer is 3.2 lbs so trust my review. If light weight is important to you, this may not be the computer for you.

A lot of times touch pad wouldn't scroll, and that got me really mad. They gave me a new one and i though it wouldn't happen anymore, but I was wrong. This laptop is not worth its money!

Purchased this computer for my daughter's school work, when I got it home I noticed that the internal microphone was not working. I took it back to the store, because it was an open box they had to send it off to get it repaired because of a hardware issue. Now I am looking between 10 to 14 days before she can use her computer. I thought with this being a certified open box they would have checked this before putting it out for sale.

I had this computer for less than two years and after one year of ownership half the keyboard stopped working which apparently is a common issue with this model. Had to copy and paste several letters to be able to type a simple sentence. Keyboard cannot be replaced either. Recycled this piece of junk after I got sick of taking 15 mins to write a simple paragraph of text. Waste of money.
