One of my aging dell laptops I use for development needed replaced. I was pleasantly surprised at the performance of this model being sub $1k. Even more so that it had zero issues running Ubuntu 16.04! Pros: - excellent quality, crisp and clear 1080p HD display. - SD card slot - USB C ! - Kaby Lake Core i7 (Fast!) also avg 5-6 hours on battery when using heavily. - 512GB SS HD - 15.6" multi-touch screen - Nice and sturdy construction Cons: - Keyboard keys feel a bit shallow (but have excellent response) - Location of power button is odd, especially when grabbing to turn the laptop from the edges (got used to it) - Not much else yet Great Deal!

Lightweight, fast, more than enough memory. Does everything I could possible want.

I have had this for only a month now but it exceeds my expectations. It starts up so fast with face recognition. Works perfectly and like I said is so fast. I do miss my number keypad but I am pretty sure I will get over that. Like others have said, the power button is definitely in the wrong place but again this computer has exceeded my wildest expectations. Thank you Dell.

I replaced my previous laptop because I needed something that could hold up to my traveling. I do not travel often, but when I do, I worry that my laptop will get damaged (last hotel dropped it). After doing some research, I found this one to have less moving parts, and therefore, it can hold up better than most. Specs are great and the laptop has great performance. It is great.

512 SSD with 12GB ram caught my eyes with amazing design made it perfect

I bought this laptop for my son to use for school. I was drawn to it because of the sleek look and the great price. However, to see a larger SSD and 12 GB of RAM in addition to the other premium features at a price point that was far ahead of anything else, made this a can't miss. In fact, this computer has more than lived up to expectations. We are very happy with it.

I wasn't crazy about most of the computers being touch screen but this one seemed to be the best option. The computer itself is well built, but I am still having issues with Windows 10 quirks such as where it is storing my pictures and other files in strange places that I haven't been able to figure out. The computer itself has a great screen and pretty decent sound if you like to watch videos and view photos or listen to music.

This computer was a fantastic machine. Fast, affordable, with a ton of great features. I am a longtime Mac user, and I thought I would give windows a try. If I have one complaint, it would be the screen. Viewing angles were bad, real bad. For some people, that may not be an issue but for me it was. I ended up buy buying a 15" MacBook Pro for 3X the price.

Very fast laptop, very satisfied, love the solid state hard drive

I got this as a gift for my brother and he loves it. Although we did have to return the first one because the hard drive failed only after one day, but it's been a month since and he uses it for school and movies on a daily and it seems to be holding up great. Great specs and from what I see it gives a fast performance. He's happy with it, great buy!
