    I guess I was expecting a little bit more. It is a decent laptop, but some of the setup stuff is not that great. The finger scanner is not that great. It works maybe 50 percent of the time. I feel more irritation than easements. It is still usable and would be fine for most others. I would not go out of my way to suggest it though but still would mark a recommendation. Also do kind of wish there was a number pad. If you have been using a tablet or a laptop in the 100 to 300 range it may wow you.

That is not the type of feedback we like to hear from our customers, or the type of product Dell intends to deliver. We have noted the details of your statement and will use them to improve current and future products. Below I have provided steps to assist you in running a diagnostic test on your device for the fingerprint reader. If this does not fix your issue, I have provided a troubleshooting link below with more resolutions.
      To determine if the fingerprint reader is experiencing a hardware problem, run a hardware diagnostic test.
      1. Go to https://www.dell.com/support/home/home/index/fingerprintreader
      2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the hardware test.
      NOTE: If SupportAssist is not installed on your computer, follow the prompts to download and install SupportAssist.
      3. If the hardware test passes, restart the computer and try to sign into Windows using the fingerprint reader.
      4.
      5. If the hardware test fails, contact Dell Technical Support for repair options that are available in your region.
      If the hardware test passes, but the fingerprint reader issue is not resolved, go to the next step and install the latest Windows Updates.
