I bought this laptop after seeing that it had a good battery life, but after owning it for about a month, sometimes it feels like the battery dies too quickly (4 hours). Overall the laptop is really nice. I havent used the tablet mode too much other than when I first bought it to test it out, but its a really cool feature that might come in handy sooner or later.

I upgraded because my old computer was dying. This computer has good graphics and I play a lot of poker on it. I didn’t like that it did not come with word and the rest of the Microsoft products since I paid so much for it. The screen is big and so far the battery is working well.

Love the big screen. Good visuals. Not a big fan of windows 10, but what can you do? Wish it had another USB port

When my old Sony had some issues; it was about 9 years old, I wanted to buy a new Sony laptop but was told they don't make them any longer, big shock! So I chose the Dell and it performs almost as good but not quite up to the Sony. Sony gave tips on enhancing performance and how to do general maintenance but the Dell does not. Otherwise it's great

I have only been using for 1 week, but like the touch screen capabilities. I did have s problem with set up which required an four hour update to Windows - Microsoft walked me thru it but unfortunately I lost the initial set up process, so very disappointed. Still muddling through the initial set up for password pictures face recognition, etc

First off, know what you are getting into, this laptop is big and is not going to fit well in any smaller laptop bag. Performance is quite good, haso full keyboard, and feels very durable. Cons are same as many other i7 laptops, specifically they are generally loud when running fast, and the battery life suffers when the pc is running full out.

I had upgraded a different laptop to 10, eventually went back to 7. This new laptop was designed for 10 and works great. I had pick this one based on Dell design and quality. Made sure I got the touchscreen as well as the keyboard. Had more issues with adapting to the different windows 10 software personally, but got through it. I thought it was weird that it did not have a dvd Drive, (most don’t) so I bought an external one.

This laptop has it all, gobs of memory, super processing power, 17.3" high definition display and it's a 2-in-1. I have a 2012 ASUS G73SW 17.3" core I7 laptop that weighs 8.8 ponds compared to 6.2 pounds for the Dell. Also, the Dell is so thin, about 1/2" at the versus about 2 inches thick at the hinge for the ASUS. Oh, and the Dell is touch screen whereas the ASUS is not but the ASUS cost $1200 when new. That's $300 more than the Dell. This is an incredible laptop and I don't think you'll go wrong if you buy one.

My previous laptop was old and quickly dying. I needed something quick. I found this in the store and purchased it. After bringing it home and setting it up, I realized quickly it needed a ssd. The hard drive that comes with it is just too slow to do anything with. I promptly upgraded to an m.2 ssd from Crucial and it's running much better. I then reformatted the drive that came with the computer and using it for extra storage. The RAM is quick and I love having a touch screen laptop in this size. I use it with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. It seems to handle those just fine. I don't do any PC gaming as all my games are for my Xbox One. Streaming games from the Xbox One to this looks excellent. I wish there were more USB 3.0 ports built in, but that's what USB hubs are for, right? I'm loving this laptop and will probably add onto the RAM once they come down a little in price.

For the price, this is a great machine. If you travel a lot with your laptop, it is a little large but it fit our needs perfectly. Performance is fast and set-up was simple. Quality Dell computer at a reasonable price.

I bought this laptop as a replacement for my dell vostro. I was a little hesitant about getting a 17" laptop, but I am glad I did. I also was going from windows 7 professional to windows 10. I found the transition to be quick and painless! I love the laptop. It is thinner and lighter than the vostro. It's quick and does everything I need it to do. The only downside is, no cd/DVD. Honestly thought, I can't remember the last time I used one of those in my old laptop. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a fast and quality product. I haven't used the tablet feature yet, but at 17", I doubt I will.
