Perfect for high school students

Perfect size and the Microsoft Office option is exactly what he needed. Perfect for a first time laptop owner. Lightweight, looks good, priced right! Very happy so far with this purchase.

So feeling I could do a good deed, I bought him one.. He couldn't afford to buy one so I did. He is having a ball with it. He has to get accustom to the 10, he had a 7 Thrums UP all around...

Decent desktop though a little slow

We looked at a few computers and decided that for a few dollars more this computer would be better. I can say that overall the computer is decent I just wish it was a little faster opening applications. I feel that the computer is a little slow and should be faster for the amount of RAM and processor speed. I like the built in assistant Cortana, though not a fan of Windows 10, or windows 8 for that matter. But the touch screen is a nice addition. Overall I'd say the computer is meh, ok. If given the choice I would pick a iMac or a laptop but that is just my opinion.

Posted .Dear Duckfan1981, We appreciate you taking the time to review your new Dell All-In-One computer. We're sorry to hear that it's not running as fast as you had hoped it would. We'd recommend some of the following steps that have helped some of our other users in the past -
Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use
1) Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel.
2) Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use.
3) Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).

Our old computer was a Dell and served us very well for many years, but it was out of date.

Great Computer for Older User

This computer is great for him in that he can make words very large for aging eyes and can just use the touch screen for aging fingers. It has given him a renewed chance to connect with family in contemporary manner.

Good product but a bit slow

Still a very good buy at this price. Serving my purposes of watching some online TV and email, shopping, etc. I am not a gamer, so do not know how it would handle more activity.
