The Dell Inspiron is probably the best computer I have owned. It’s fast, quiet, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Why settle for your old, slow computer?

I bought this for my parents and all of their past problems have been solved by this computer. Set up was a breeze and the speed is fantastic. My parents couldn't be more satisfied. Computers are so much easier to set up from square one and this machine has everything you need except the monitor. Do yourself a favor and throw away your old computer. You can thank me later.

    Review of Dell Inspiron 3020

Purchased to replace 14 YO Dell XPS with Intel i7 from 2009. Inspiron is of somewhat lesser build quality, but quite sufficient for gentle home use. I added an internal, 1TB SSD to the available SATA connectors for internal storage of home video files. I also separately purchased from Dell their mid-priced wireless mouse & keyboard set; I had too many wires on the desktop! Performance is quick for general use; obviously not for hard-core gaming. Will do some video processing; first try suggests adequate performance for editing and converting home video files in reasonable times. Biggest challenge was learning/taming Windows 11. Biggest change was the automatic provisioning of my document backup to one drive. I have a Microsoft account, but was not aware the onedrive would be automatically provisioned. I think it's OK, as doc's are automatically backed up, but I had been doing this to a local NAS unit; still a bit of anxiety about cloud backup, but that is the "modern" way, so will also keep local BU. Trust in Microsoft, right? BTW, for anyone possibly confused as to the operation of Onedrive, look for some YouTube videos by "askLeo" for some nice, simple explanations. The only software glitch encountered so far concerns the use of iTunes; it generally works but only outputs to the speakers, even if headphone are plugged in, other apps are fine. (Yes I know, this is not a commonly used app these days.). Overall, happy with the purchase.

Reliable Performance with a Smooth Upgrade Path

Reliable Performance with a Smooth Upgrade Path This unit delivered excellent performance and reliability during its time in service. I upgraded the RAM to 32 GB, which noticeably enhanced speed and multitasking capabilities. While the upgrade process was initially challenging—Best Buy technicians twice brought incompatible RAM—I ultimately sourced the correct modules myself and completed the installation without issue. Once configured, the system ran efficiently and met all expectations. The only minor drawback was the fan noise, which was noticeable in a quiet home office setting but not disruptive. Unfortunately, the unit was lost during the severe flooding caused by the 2024 hurricanes. Until then, it was a dependable and capable machine that served our household well.

The best part of having my new Dell tower is the speed. It really moves. I have full confidence of this computer being able to handle all I do now and for years to come. It has all the ports etc. I need and with good memory, storage, and speed, I am truly pleased. Thanks Dell.

This new 16g Dell desktop has been great. It was an easy set up and connection to both wi-fi and printer. It is fast and very easy to use. My last three desktops have been Dell and I have been extremely happy with all of them. I will continue to use Dell in the future.

This Dell Desktop is great. It doesn't take up much space, but it holds a lot of storage and comes with the built in disk player. It is easy to navigate and starts up quickly. My wife and I both have one. We highly recommend it.

Very pleased with purchase. I needed something fast, ins stock in a decent price range for my business when one of my terminals crapped out on me. This set up was seamless and with my Microsoft account everything seamlessly transferred over so I lost no information.

Dell never disappoints. I decided to upgrade my office station from an Optiplex 9th generation to this and, goodness, you can definitely tell the difference from the get go. The setup took me five minutes. Now my work mever lags; it feels like a breeze.

I’m very happy with the performance. The PC runs quietly and responds very fast. I use many apps at once, 4 - 5 browsers with 50+ open tabs and watch You tube at the same time, zero problems.

i7 Core is excellent running system, I'm impressed with the speed; I did have a little trouble installing some of my programs from my old Win10 system but got them all back up & running, for the price this is hands down a great PC.

Our old Dell was 5 years old and was not windows 11 compatible. This runs well, I hear a slight noise more than the old one. We have two monitors attached and sometimes the main monitor does not come on. We must unplug the power source then plug it back in for the monitor to work. Not sure what’s up with that. Other than that, it runs a lot faster. We choose to order this one online with upgrades compared to the one they offered in the store.

The Dell 3020 was a replacement for a 12-year-old desktop, I can't believe the difference in speed, it came with a DVD burner, and the whole unit is very quiet.
