    I got this for my mother as a replacement for her older Dell desktop that lasted quite a few years. It was time for a new one and. this was compact, nice looking with good features (USB ports, HDMI, DVD drive, etc.) but had major problems right out of the box. I'm reasonably tech savvy but when the computer wouldn't recognize my mother's printer or software and the computer froze 10 times after basic set up in the first 2 days, I called Geek Squad. They worked on it for over 3 or 4 hours and finally said something was obviously defective with the motherboard. I had read other reviews of this model that had the same problem so I wasn't going to bother exchanging it since it was within the first week after purchase. Just returned it and got something else which is working out great.
