I recently upgraded to this new Dell desktop after using my old (Pentium) Dell model since 2006. I chose Dell again because I had no problems with my former PC and found it very serviceable as I used it for work and personal computing. Reliability and support are prime requisites for me since I'm not extremely techy. So far it has performed well. I hope I can get 10 years of use out of it, too!

This is my first Dell and first purchased computer with Windows 10. My family and I have been very happy with the performance of the computer. So far we have not experience any problems and are pleased with the performance of the computer. I would recommend my family and friends to purchase this computer with the Intel Core i5.

Used geek squad for set up and data transfer. My part at home set up easy. First time Windows 10 user so that took more time. This was replacing an older Dell. The quality of the tower has remarkably declined. Very cheap plastics appearing. The disk tray is very thin. Works as needed so no complaints. I don't find noise an issue as others have said. Basic computing so speed fine for my use.

The computer is space saving and fast. It was very easy to set up and start using.

I've had Dells for years, and this one is great! I'm an 86 year-old female, and I took the computer out of the box, completely set it up by myself. I'm amazed to find that its Windows 10 has taken all my old programs like The Print Shop, and everything works well. It took me a few days to get everything working, but now it's all doing beautifully. Love it!

Though the cost of computers has come down considerably since I first started purchasing them they are still a hefty dollar investment so I don't usually take any chances on them. However, this machine was too good to pass up. I couldn't get this configuration directly from Dell without paying substantially more. It was an "open box" sale certified by the Geek Squad and came with a sweet little surprise, a 6 month subscription to the full Kaspersky Anti-virus suite. Thanks Geek Squad. Dell also gives you McAfee AV for free, but I prefer Kaspersky myself if I don't use Windows Defender. So after almost 8 weeks of constant use (read "break it if you can") by 2 users, so far so good. If you can come across this machine with the same configuration don't pass it up. It has an Intel Core i5 (64 bit), 1Tb HD along with 12Gb of RAM and loaded with Win10 Home (recently updated to Win10 Creators edition). Dell has definitely learned from it's customers and no longer loads tons of "crapware" on their machines either. My experience with purchasing this machine from Best Buy went smoothly as usual. Love ordering online for in-store pick-up and as this was an "open box" purchase I was able to inspect everything before I left the store, a plus.

My home computer crashed and I needed a new one. The Best Buy employee asked several questions in order to better respond to our questions about which computer we needed. He was very helpful and saved us money purchasing additional items. Once home, it was easy to set up our new computer, and I was working on it the same day! Very happy with this purchase.
