Loving my newcomputer

But were it not for my Geek Squad rep that set it up for me, the experience would have been different. At 74 years young my computer skills are lacking a bit and he was excellent in making sure I was comfortable with everything before leaving my home. All future electronic purchases will be made at Best Buy.

Great value for a desktop

The Dell was on sale, and the deal was greatly enhanced by the $150 student discount. I paid $350 on a tax-free weekend for an I5 with 12GB of RAM, then slaved in an aftermarket 256GB SSD in lieu of the 1TB HD (preferred speed over space). It meets my needs and I'm a happy camper!

Good desktop

This Dell certainly loads content much faster. Access to programs is different and took some getting used to, but I'm happy I was able to get all my music, pictures, and documents onto it with little effort.

I love this computer

I keep learning about Win 10 and do not hate it as bad as I thought I would. The computer is very fast, and has been hassle free, so far. I had another Dell many years ago and it just quite working last summer, so hope this one works as well.

OK for everyday use/word processing

The new capability has adequate speed and capacity. We had thought of upgrading to 16GB RAM by adding an additional 4GB chip, but there are only two chip receptacles on the board, and we don't want to discard the existing two 6GB and buy two 8GB.
