I got my first unit took it out of the box and something was loose inside the tower. I ran it back and got the same one. I hook it up and notice that this was very noisy and ran as fast as my old vista,so took this one back and trying another model.

I took it back to the store when I discovered the HDMI port was defective. I then purchased a different brand of computer. This computer did not live up to my expectations.

I wanted an all around PC with decent gaming capabilities and was choosing between two approaches at the same price point, this DELL FX and a CyberPowerPC (Model: GUA2200BST). They both have 16GB of RAM and a 2TB Hard Drive, the DELL FX is very compact while the CyberPowerPC is HUGE. The difference, if I understand it correctly, is that the DELL FX has a 4 physical core laptop processor, yes, a "laptop" CPU (FX-8800P), or APU as AMD would call it since it has an on-board R7 GPU built into it. While the CyberPowerPC has an 8 physical core CPU (FX-8320) with no integrated graphics. The FX-8800P benchmarks at a ho-hum 3846 whereas the FX-8320 is rated at a whopping 8024! The reasons I purchased the DELL FX was because I would have wanted to upgrade the CyberPowerPC's video card and PSU (it only has 350w) to bring up the graphics performance. The DELL FX not only has R7 integrated graphics but a dedicated R9 360 which benchmarks at 6590 while the CyberPowerPC's R7 250 ranks at 2700 Now I was told, but not certain, that the R7 and R9 in the DELL FX work in tandem like an AMD Crossfire setup. All I know is that the graphics and video are extremely smooth with high frame rates and images render instantly. Programs also open quickly and it multi-tasks very well I also like that the DELL FX has a built-in wireless card with Bluetooth, which the CyberPowerPC lacks. The small case of the DELL FX is very limited for expandability although it looks classy and has great build quality and a cool red light at the bottom. The HUGE CyberPowerPC is awesome for upgrading because of all that room, and it has a neat see through panel with adjustable LED lighting, although the plastics do look somewhat cheap. The problem is all that extra room for potential upgrading would mean more $$$ I would want to sink into that monster. I'm on a budget, so overall I'm satisfied with my complete purchase with the DELL FX, even with a laptop CPU (which BTW way draws only 35w compared with 125w for the FX-8320) it runs everything I throw at it very effectively and efficiently.

This might not be the computer's fault, but it's moving REALLY slow and jerky. Geek Squad said it was an issue with Windows 10. Don't know what to believe...

First off, I did not purchase this computer from Best Buy only because I was able to save over a hundred or so dollars back in Feb. 2016. If money is tight and when isn't it for most people ? if your in the market for a new computer, then seriously, look no further. I swear this is the quietest computer I have ever owned. I can hear myself think. I have been using this computer since mid March of this year and I have not had one single issue period. If your looking for a serious gaming machine, this isn't your comp. Go spend 2 grand and up if that's your thing. I am no serious gamer but have played a few games and was amazed by the quality of this video card that is DDR5 2 Gigs. 16 Gigs of system DDR3 memory, 2 terabytes of storage. Plenty of USB ports and the 5.1 sound that is built into the board sounds great. You've got nothing to loose by purchasing this comp. it's a win, win, all the way around. What I do know is this computer is super fast and has run anything I can throw at it with no slowdowns. What more could you possibility want on a budget that gets you way more then you can even imagine. I know I enjoy mine and will for years to come. I don't know about the rest of you ? but, I sure & hel love saving money and getting a fantastic product for under $600.00 Way to go Best Buy.

Ordered online and delivery was rapid. Unfortunately, I became reacquainted with the Geek Squad techs in my area. Windows 10 did not load properly. Nothing Best Buy did; it was Dell's mistake. I would recommend Best Buy to everyone.

    The Jury Is Still Out!!

I've had this PC for about 2 weeks. I do have a few CONS with it: The case is much smaller than my old HP. The other problem, there is no room for expansion. Only 2 slots for memory. No extra bay or SATA cable for an extra hard drive. I planned on putting my old hard drive in as a slave, but now I must buy a hard drive enclosure for it instead. **On this past Friday, my wife had trouble with the system lagging. After talking with Geek Squad, she was told to bring it in for an exchange and that the hard drive was probably bad. So now I have to clear the hard drive of my files!** If not for the hard drive issue or lack of expansion, I would have given 5 stars. Still would recommend.
