My HP laptop died completely after a little more than a year. It's being repaired but it's going to cost a lot. I decided to get this desktop as a backup PC. I think the laptop will now be my backup PC. One annoying thing with this machine is that instead of getting more than 100 mbs internet speed, I was getting less than half that. I found that there is something called "SmartByte Network Service" that needs to be disabled to get the full 100+ mbs. Just go to "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\Services", then right-click on SmartByte Network Service and select "Stop". The service does restart itself on occasion, so just repeat to stop again.

I was looking for a laptop and ended up with a desktop. The dept mgr offered me a deal I could not refuse and I ended up with a great product. The computer is excellent except that the MS Edge leaves a lot to be desired. It allows bogus maintenance warning popups that I have to go to elaborate pains to eliminate so I can continue using Edge. Consequently, I use Firefox with DuckDuckGo and don't have the problems.

Initial set up was easy and straight forward. Down loading programs from CD's was fast and without problems. This computer is fast and response to commands is immediate. This computer came with McAfee security 30 day trial already installed - after 30 day trial, you pay. Other computers - not so. I have a dell windows 10 laptop that came with Windows Defender Security already installed - no costs involved and supported with windows security updates - no cost.

Got this computer for my dad and he loves it! It's very fast and it's a huge step up from his last computer. He's so happy he got it and I would definitely recommend this. I haven't seen any cons yet!

Got this great desktop from Dell on sales. With the new 8th generation Intel i5 processor and high capacity 1TB hard drive and alot of RAM (12GB!!!). This computer can allows me to do multi tasking.

The computer was reasonably priced with 12 RAM and responds very fast. The windows 10 has been upgrade and works well with the programs installed. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Purchased as open box when my OLD computer went down. Got a great price on this unit and have had no problems at all. I can have numerous tabs open at one time and does not seem to slow it down.

The version of Windows used on this PC is a challenge to someone who started in 1995 and has gone through the subsequent iterations, isn't a gamer, and still thinks '98 and XP were the best things since ... unix. The Dell itself is a lovely machine, but Windows is a mess. I can no longer tell what is an ad and what is the actual software when it boots up. After two years I am tired of trying to fight my way through stuff that isnt actually installed on the machine, but wants to be so that it can collect a monthly fee from me. So, in truth, what used to be fun about computers isnt there anymore, or it is, but is difficult to find. I used to be able to install and UNINSTALL stuff i wanted to try, but once installed it disappears into the maw of the Expanse where you can never find it.

This is a reliable PC, running smoothly, quietly, and fast. Installation, software and Windows updates are very easy. The 1TB hard drive is big enough to save a lot of videos and pictures.

Its i5 processor makes conventional tasks faster and adding that to its 12 gb of ram. It's phenomenal, compact in its design that can be installed on any normal or small desktop

My old business desktop died- emergency need to replace- this new conputer is lightning fast, tons of memory for my requirements, and covered by the best mfr warranty in the market

I needed to be able to remote into my work station in Nashville. My laptop died and I bought this desktop. I love it! Should have done this a long time ago. Certainly worth the money!!

I mainly use my computer to surf the web or do reports but it has plenty of power to run multiple applications and play games as well. I am constantly fighting with my children to use my computer, so for the price I plan on purchasing a second one " That Will Be All Mine"!!

When my desktop computer I needed a replacement that would be as good as or better, I found it. I have ample storage and speed. Very smooth operation.

This is the first Dell that I have owned was going to buy a Lenovo to replace the 7 yr old one but this computer was on sales has more memory and better drive so far its good

No problems with the set up w/Wireless printer set up. Compact size works well on the computer desk. Very easy to handle if it has to be moved from one place to another.

Very satisfied with it. Easy to set up. 12G memory is amazingly fast! Have always been a Dell computer fan, and continue to be.

I bought this computer simply to go in my office for a little work but mostly play. Its awesome! I enjoy being able to have the best of both worlds. It has a lot of space for my games and its been above average for work purposes as well.

I bought this to set up a new office at work. It’s quick and so far very reliable. I’ll buy another next time I need a desktop replacement.
