I just picked up my new Dell Computer this very day (4/3/2020) curbside to the local Best Buy Store. Too early to review this new Dell, but if it is anything like my previous Dell XPS 8300 (Windows 7) I'll be more than impressed. More to add to this review later after I've had a chance to familiarize myself with its' capabilities. I am honestly impressed with my experience with Best Buy. From the first day interested in purchasing a replacement computer for my Dell XPS Windows 7, I found not only the computer I was looking for, I found Best Buy to be the best place to spend my money. Top notch sales person ... knowledgeable, competent, informed and courteous, which is a big deal for me. Checkout was easy. More later after I get some hands-on time. For now, Thank You Best Buy for a great purchasing experience. Oh yeah, I drove up to their 'curbside' pickup ... very personable young person checked my credentials to be certain I was, in fact, who purchased said computer, and she loaded the Dell into my vehicle. WOW!! I am again impressed with Best Buy!!! I'll be back ... as I have returned many times these last twenty times over the years. PeteZ

I was looking for a compact solution for my office that was powerful and reliable in this definitely was it. I can’t believe how small they are making computers these days. Great service and great quality coming from Best Buy!

In recent years, 2 Dell desktop computers crashed shortly after the 3 year extended warranty expired. I'm hoping this one will last longer. It's fast with solid state hard drive, Intel core i7, and 12 GB memory. I wanted to have greater storage capacity, so I had Best Buy install a 3 TB SATA hard drive in the empty bay available. It is a backup reservoir for the solid state drive and for the contents of the hard drive from the computer that had crashed. And I also have an external expansion hard drive as a backup. This PC has 4 USB 2.0 slots and 2 USB 3.0, whereas the Studio XPS had more, but inserting a 4 USB hub in one of the slots has mostly compensated for that difference. This PC has one CD/DVD drive whereas the previous one had two. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase (bought on a 12 month no interest option), as long as it continues to function well.

all the stuff i recently bought is ok but i went back to spend oh about anohter 2 thousand , was met by a rude sales person and there was nothing in the store stocked , no printers no shredders , verry little carmers gear , no drawing tablets , and with the rudeness ,,, well i dont know if i'll be back

Awesome computer that is so fast. We got two Samsung monitors & it has no lag even with multiple programs opened. Was a breeze setting it up & the associate was very knowledgeable on the programs we needed.

This is a good system. The start-up time is remarkably fast due to the ssd, but I did add an external 4TB hard drive to make up for the lack of storage space. I have had no problems with it so far.

What a difference a solid state drive makes in performance! Dell quality with good specs. Easy to setup. Wish it had included 2 HDMI ports instead of only one.

This tower was an emergency replacement for my old Windows 7 Dell that died. The setup on this was easy and the system is far and above superior to what I had before. I should not have waited so long to go to a newer system. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Upgraded to this Inspire as my old XPS needs a new video card and Windows 7 was at its end. The computer seems to be working fine so I am happy with that. It's Windows 10 that I'm not excited about. Transferring my data over from the old computer to the new one is proving difficult. I understand about the cloud and all, but when I upgraded to my XPS, Windows 7 was able to transfer all my data from my old computer where as Windows 10 can not do this. Additionally, this new photo program doesn't have the same editing capabilities as the old 7 program had nor do I see any 5 star rated photo editing programs (for a reasonable amount of money).

Like how it looks, has the features I need and use, it was easy to set up, am new to Windows 10 so am learning, it runs good and have had no issues so far. I am happy with this computer and would highly recommend it.

Old (very old) desktop failed. This desktop was an easy to install replacement. Really glad to have a solid state drive. Like the compact size. This desktop was put in use 11 months ago and have had no problems.

Very happy with my purchase! Started working from home and it's the fastest computer i've had. I work a lot of applications at the same time so it's definitely a winner.

This box is a good place to start. I have used a lot of Dell computers over the years. You should purchase a >32GB thumb drive with the computer to create your initial "recovery disk" on. I immediately replaced the 256GB M.2 drive with a 2TB 2.5" SSD. Be aware that the supplied drive is "M.2" rather than "SATA". Unfortunately a 2TB "M.2" was twice the price of "SATA" today. If you use the supplied USB mouse and keyboard there will only be 2 free USB ports on the rear, therefore I will purchase a four-USB card to insert before putting this machine into full usage. I'm pleased with the purchase even though the WinOS 10 Home is very annoying.

We needed a PC for basic home and home office use, and this fits the bill perfectly. The solid state drive is fast and out-performs our other older desktop. My only criticism would be a little less storage than I need, but that can be managed.

Desktop was good, but I ended up returning it since a few weeks later another desktop with more memory and more SSD hard disk space was on sale for cheaper. If I kept this I would have had to get another ssd drive for storage.

This machine is working well and the overall experience is positive, but I have already decided to replace the 256GB card with a 1TB card. The only issue I have is one that I'm pretty sure if either Windows fault or some configuration issue. The machine will sometimes freeze for 2-4 seconds where the mouse won't move and it is unresponsive, but then it clears and everything is OK again. It doesn't crash, but just "stalls" for a couple of seconds. Again, I think that is something related to configuration or maybe a driver issue. I very much like the responsiveness of the i7 CPU, and I have the machine driving two displays - one 4K monitor (using the HDMI port) and one HD monitor (using the VGA port). Very snappy. I don't use this for gaming - just business applications.

Nice fast compact machine for the $$. I purchased for my camera system and my main criteria was processor and memory. This checked both boxes for the right price

fast, love the 3.0 usb, sleek and does not take up much space...looked inside to see what can be added and will have to ask geek squad about it...

Quite pleased with the easy set -up (Windows 10 - Edge). Easily transferred my Favorites from previous computer (Gateway). Dell Customer Support software automatically checks for driver updates and other technical enhancements. The keyboard and mouse have a very smooth feel and quite to the touch. Have yet to set up Back-up with my Western Digital External 1TB Drive, in addition to transferring my Music, Photos and select Documents. Dell's Customer Support software has an option to utilize in making it seamless. Also Customer Support Service 24/7.
