I did a research for monitors for couple months. The P2214h is by far the best monitors I have ever use. I ordered two monitors at first and a month later I ordered one more. I think I might order one more.lol I have all three monitors for four months now and they work great. The stand is little wide and long. Not a problem. To maximize the space on my desk I place things on the top of the stand like staples, pen holder, business card holder etc so in a sense the stands don't take to much space. Note that the wide stand is needed due to monitors size. In the box you will also find Cables (VGA,HDMI and USB). Turn down the brightness to 50 and contrast to 60. Factory settings are at 100 and your eyes will hurt. Just a suggestion ... Strongly recommended.

I knew the Dell - P2214H 21.5 IPS LED HD monitor was a top of the line monitor for someone with my modest needs and in fact it's even more than I expected. I don't game at all but I do use my computer 6-8 hours a day for normal retired guy stuff (primarily email, Quicken, Excel, Access and Word) and it more than meets my needs. I had given a lot of thought to buying two monitors but gave up on that idea when I saw how well Win10's Task View along with Win10's Snap feature allow me to easily have four windows open on one screen. Combine that with multiple desktops courtesy of Task View and I don't need (or even want) a second monitor.

A good monitor for working in either landscape or portrait mode. Good price through Best Buy shipped direct to store.

Before I purchased these monitors, I continually had to lean in to adjust my monitors. When I purchased the Dell - P2214H 21.5" IPS LED HD Monitors, it enabled me to view full page spreadsheets and contracts by allowing me to adjust to portrait and landscape mode. When I ordered from Best Buy, the delivery time was expected to be 4 Weeks. It only took them a week to deliver to the store. Nothing but good things to say about these monitors and Best Buy.

I wanted a monitor for my home office that could flip easily to portrait mode for viewing long documents and transcripts. This monitor does the trick and looks great...I like an uncluttered desk. The stand manages cables well and the adjustable height is fantasic. The pivoting is a bit tight and I need to use two hands; one to hold the stand in place and the other to pivot the screen left or right...not sure if it will loosen over time. The height adjustment and screen rotation (lanscape to portrait) is somewhat looser but could still be a tad looser. Overall this is a good quality monitor if you want the basic conveniences of height, pivot, and screen rotation. The image is good, I do not use it much for videos, so it certainly does the trick for basic internet browsing and word processing.

I wanted to love this monitor so much but it just didn't happen. I bought this as a replacement to the ASUS PB238Q which I also had issues with. The DELL P2214H drew my eye because of it's size and the amazing stand that swivles and has height adjustment. This was about all I could love with this monitor though. The fonts were horrendous regardless of my countless attempts at adjusting Cleartext in Windows. The font just looked...off. Nothing was clear or sharp. No amount of tweaking fixed this for me. I have to say that the color was fairly accurate though and looked pretty good. If the text issue had resolved somehow I would have kept this but it had to go back. I am thinking of trying another Asus. My hunt for the perfect monitor continues.

I purchased 2 of these Dell monitors to use side by side and am very happy with them. Quality is great. My only complaint is the location of the USB ports which are not easy to access. I've used Dell monitors in the past that located the USB ports on the left side of the monitor so it was easy to pop in a flash drive.
