Purchased the refurbished Dell 755. It arrived in good condition, was easy to set up, and, upgrade to Windows 10. It was not compatible with my monitor so I purchased a new one. However, within ten days, the mother board fried! No rhyme no reason! Enclosed with the PC was a card with a phone number to call should there be any issues with the product. We called four times, left messages, and, no one ever returned the call! Finally my husband took the PC to the Annapolis store where they ran diagnostics and informed him of the mother board issue. It was NOT covered up warranty, and it would have cost more, to send it out for repair than the cost of the product. We ended up placing it into the trash bin. There went my money right out the window, with no help from Best Buy to resolve or replace the PC. If you are considering a refurbished PC, be aware, that parts are not covered under the warranty and you truly will be taking a chance.

I wanted an older computer without Windows tiles so I purchased this one. It was packaged in a box and attached to a cardboard piece with shrink wrap. The edges of the computer were pried open and did not it the computer case. It looked like the computer was used in a class for new students that abused it. I didn't turn it on and returned it to the store within the week.

Do not buy a refurbished computer online from Best Buy! I purchased this refurbished Dell OptiPlex-755, and it stopped working after only 8 months. I took the computer to Best Buy today to have the techs repair it, and I was told that it needed parts and the charge to run the diagnostic was going to cost more than I paid for the computer. I told the tech guy it was under warranty for 1 year (parts and labor covered). He told me that refurbished computers sold on the Best Buy website DO NOT come with a warranty. He said if I want a warranty on a refurbished computer that I need to purchase an out-of-box computer from the store (not online). Buyer BEWARE! When I purchased this refurbished Dell computer online, it clearly stated that it came with a 1 year warranty. I looked online again for the same computer and other refurbished computers and some have 1 year and others have 18 month warranties. However, when you take the computer inside the store for repair they will deny this.

The computer was delivered before expected. Didn't take long to set up and download Windows 10. We don't do any heavy gaming. Mostly word processing and Internet searches. This computer is more than adequate for that. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my husband is the primary user. I'm only the techy person.

i don't do anything but email and shop. worked fine for just under 2 years then it fried itself.. My expectation is that a refurb will last a minimum of 3 years.. this one didn't make it.

This machine arrived rather quickly and works as a basic computer. You won't get much speed from it, but at this price point what can you expect?

I installed windows 10 with no problems...A new computer could not operate any better than this refurbished one. I have no regrets on this computer.

Other than having to remove a lot of "freeware" and catch up on all the Windows updates, this was a great deal. I would definitely do it again.
