Truly, this monitor is beautiful. Images on this screen really pop. I haven't noticed any light leakage like mentioned on other reviews, but I was expecting if it was an issue that it would just glare at me. It doesn't. I had my choices narrowed down to 2 monitors in this price arena after much review research. Though they were close, the colors and contrast at factory settings were just noticeably better on this Dell. The other monitor had great ratings from gamers. This subsequently had the most reviews from the photographers and graphic artists. And I am so glad I went with this one. For the money, truly I am impressed, and was absolutely surprised it was Dell that put this beauty out there, they definitely have the name for computers, but I'd have never thought of them for a monitor I'd be using for graphics and photography.

This monitor... Is absolutely fantastic! I was looking for a semi-glossy IPS panel that would be able to get rich colors at a good price point. I don't think it gets better than this. Colors are vivid, text is crisp, whites are white, blacks are black, these are great monitors. I bought 2 of them and put them side by side. The addition of VESA mounts allows me to mount them in the future when I grab my third. Absolute must buy if you are looking for an excellent sub-$200 IPS panel.

For the discounted price I received this display for, it was %100 worth it. Not necessarily what I would call a gaming centric monitor, but if you are looking for a 144hz monitor, you wouldn't be looking in this price range anyway. Overall, It works. And it does so, very well. Good viewing angles paired with the vertical angle adjustment makes for a pretty great viewing experience when doing web browsing, and consuming video. Its LED so it doesn't use too much power while still being bright, sometimes too bright on the highest brightness setting. The interface on the monitor is seamless and works fine and allows for quickly changing settings and getting right back to what you were doing. Overall a good monitor and I don't really have many problems with the design at all. Response time isnt too clear on any of the boxes/branding or in store information, but Im almost 99 percent sure its 20ms or lower. Still can be used for gaming without input lag, and colors and contrast are great. I recommend it for someone who is new to computers because its simple, and it gets the job done.

Great monitor, has an excellent picture and is large enough to have a split screen without having to uses another monitor.

I've only had this monitor for about a month. I use it primarily for office work ( Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, IE) and it's been fine. Speakers are not particularly powerful, but good enough for online training and background music. Screen does reflect overhead lights, so keep that in mind if it might bother you. My previous monitor was less glossy, so this one is taking a bit to get used to. Also, don't expect the same "motion" on this monitor as you would get on a tv - if you want to watch movies more than occasionally, get a tv. Again, this has been fine for me for office work.

Love my Dell desktop screen --perfect size fits on my desk in my bedroom --has great resolution, picture quality etc.

An excellent picture and a good value. It is a great monitor for my wife to compile her video and photo albums.

This screen is very functional for home use. It is very easy to set up only taking a few minutes from box to use. I would say that making any adjustments to colors and tones on the display seems to be very cumbersome.

The quality of this monitor is breathtaking. It's versatile and is great for hooking up a gaming console for a personal screen and can deliver the graphics. Speakers built into the monitor are good enough for normal web tasks but for streaming videos I would suggest using a 3rd party speaker system.

The resolution is crisp and presents a great display. I love the size when working on PowerPoint presentations.

This Dell monitor works great as a larger display for my laptop. A bonus is that it has built-in speakers! The monitor looks great using HDMI and the small screen bezel makes it feel like it is an edge-to-edge display. Would definitely recommend anyone using this as a computer monitor!
