This is a great monitor. It is extremely sharp and has no Basil showing on the front. Great biy.

Dell monitors usually impress me for their build quality. This one has a very pleasing image and very thin bezels. The stand looks good but has no height adjustments. If your looking for a nice desktop monitor that has a very nice image quality out of the box this does that. If your picky go look at the Ultra series as it does have a few more business features. For home use in most cases this is a very nice budget monitor.

Hooked it up with the hdmi cable it came with no problem, 1920-1080 resolution is outstanding

Shopping criteria: 24 inch monitor with 1920 x 1200 (16:10 aspect ratio resolution), below $200, and flicker-free (no PWM) - http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/flicker_free_database.htm. I have the Dell U2415 that works well for programming 8 hours a day. Since the U2415 was more than my budget, I bought the S2415 because it is supposedly flicker-free. The glossy finish is OK with me since the room doesn't have windows.

Nice monitor. Very bright and clear text. Great for working on documents or playing games.

I use this monitor with my laptop and love it. Glare is a big issue for me, but this monitor seems to handle the glare pretty well. I can't speak to any gaming characteristics, but for video, pictures, and business docs, the monitor is top-notch and trouble free.

The picture clarity, color, contrast, etc. are just great! Any light reflection off the screen is minimized by location and lighting in the room, which is hardly noticeable to this individual. All in all, this monitor is a great buy, truly superlative.

The dell 23.8" monitor has a great picture with vibrant colors. Very pleased with it.

I needed to replace my existing Dell monitor due to physical damage. This one is a couple inches larger but offers equivalent color and graphics properties. It was a snap to install and has been trouble-free for 6 months. The profile is compact and attractive.

A very nice monitor with excellent features and many ways to control images on the screen. Was looking for a monitor to use in conjunction with a lap top computer where greater detail and clarity was needed. This proved to be a good choice at a fair price.

I can't speak from a gaming standpoint as I primarily use this for non gaming activities. It is actually the second one I've purchased and they sit side by side. Very clear picture and for playing the occasional game I don't think you'd be disappointed.

This monitor has a very clear picture. The screen goes almost all the way to the edges so it does not take up a lot of unused space. The only negative about this monitor is that the vertical position is not adjustable. The stand has a fixed height.

There is not much you can say about a display, except that it works! But I can say that this display is sharp and clear. Easy on the eyes and excellent resolution. My only beef is that the internal speakers, which work with the HDMI cable, are at the bottom of the display. But I do not use my computer as a music system through the house or anything like that, so it doesn't bother me. Overall, excellent display!

I bought this for my studio. Just what I needed. Would purchase again.

I purchased this display as a replacement. One requirement was for built in speakers. The speaker output is not loud. However buy raising the volume it is more than adequate.

I use this monitor attached to a laptop in my home office. I love the face that it is wide screen since I do a lot of programming. The screen is crisp and clear and I use it also for video teleconferences and the picture quality is superb.
