Head above the crowd of mid-level IPS monitors. Setting aside more than decent picture I can't praise enough unit's build quality and materials and very small footprint on your typically crowded desk. I can comfortably fit three of them in compact Herman Miller cubicle.

I got this monitor about a month and a half ago and so far it has not failed me. I mostly got it for the looks (I.e. Thin bezel). The only thing that I don't like too much is the connection between the monitor and the stand has a pretty loose tolerance and has a bit of play.

Easy set up out of the box, great color and great price.

I don't usually write product reviews, but after doing such extensive research for my new monitors and reading hundreds of reviews myself, l realized that it's important.I've given these monitor 5 stars because they fit "my" needs in every way.After working on a laptop for years I realized I needed a bigger display at home since I worked from home a lot. After setting up and working with it for a while, I noticed the edge to edge set up is beautiful especially with the very thin bezel. As far as image quality, sharpness, brightness, and uniform backlight. I find this monitorverygood. It's the perfect monitor for a roomwhere you don't have a lot of light from behind. For me, these monitor perfect for daily use.

I bought this because I needed a bigger screen for my laptop when I am at home. It fit the bill perfectly. It's not too big and not too small. It accepts HDMI (but not sure if it is HDMI 2.0/HDCP compatible to use with a BR player. The colors are vivid and the screen is quite bright. Since it is an IPS screen, the image retains picture quality when viewed off axis. The cost of this is that the contrast is hampered when in a dark room, the blacks turn to a muddy gray. if you have external lighting on, this issue fades away.

Great monitor with fantastic color, blacks and clarity. Great response time when editing video or playing games. Even hooked it up to my Xbox One just because and in performed flawlessly. Now the built in speakers on the other hand... of course you're probably not buying this for the speakers anyway. Very tinny and shallow sound and volume control is difficult to adjust on the fly if something is too loud or too quiet.

I really enjoy the color and brightness of this IPS display. My prior monitor was just a standard LED and the brightness was not even as it is on this Dell. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the cost. I use it mainly for gaming. I play mmo's and a few racing games. No ghosting that I can see on high settings at 1080p.

My husband likes this monitor so much, he recommended them as the standard monitor for work. Built-in speakers on the 2015 model and a very thin bezel make this an outstanding monitor. Very crisp color.

+ Sleek design + good picture - bad sound Conclusion: This is probably the best monitor in its price class. Great picture and color representation. Modern, minimalistic look (fits well MacBooks, too). Sound is about as bad as you would expect. It's good enough to watch a tv show, maybe. Don't try to listen to music, though.

This monitor has fantastic resolution and a nice look. There is only a very small border around the monitor. Installation was rapid. The screen has a shiny surface, which works great for me, but if the sun came in from behind me, it might cause some glare. My set-up with the monitor between me and the window works great.

I use this Dell Monitor with my MacBook Pro with thunderbolt to HDMI converter. Now, it's not as nice as a Cinema Display or 4K monitor but for the price and most applications it's a great value. A very nice 1080p monitor with speakers and a thin bezel.

I actually bought two of these to mount vertically and the very small edge at the top helps make it look like one monitor (mounted the top one upside down). It supports the 4 screw mounting standard which I needed for my display supports. Picture is excellent. Has sound capabilities but am not using and haven't tried.

Monitor has a sharp display and very light weight to it. Easy hook up to my desktop with HDMI cable. Speakers are a little quiet for my taste but I usually use external speaker set anyway. Overall a solid product for the price range.

So I have been struggling to find an optimal setup with bigger desktop space - I went as far as a 32" Sony TV , but it wouldn't handle the 1080p resolution for the PC input, and the 42" was so huge I had to sit 6ft away. So after reading the reviews on this monitor I tried not out in store - and its literally so good I bought 2. I am driving both of them off a 2012 mac mini and the slimline monitor edge and glossy screen is (in my opinion) just as good as the 21 screen on my wife iMac. My only comment would be is that the monitor surround is such a narrow edge that i you have webcams or something else you attach to the monitor, you'll need to find somewhere else to sit it. Also there's only 1 HDMI port so like me if you want o have one of them switchable with multiple devices you'll have to invest in an HDM switcher box (which works well, but just bear in mind the monitor only has 1 port) I'd strongly recommend this monitor - in fact I'd be hard pushed to buy anything else for family and friends.

The image quality is crisp and clear. The monitor itself is sleek and the size of the screen is large but not overwhelming. It's a great screen! However, the built-in speakers (as per usual in a monitor) sound tinny and small.

I purchased a new Dell tower 2 years ago and used my old 21 inch monitor. Unfortunately it died so off I went to Best Buy. Standing there looking at the various monitors, the Dell kept jumping out at me. The picture was sharp and clear with outstanding crisp color. The extra size is perfect when working with spreadsheets. This monitor was so easy to hook up. It's basically a plug and play with no bulky cables. The Dell Display Manager that came with it is simple to use if you want to tweak brightness, contrast or screen views. I'm very pleased with this new monitor and feel like I made the perfect choice.

Did my research on and read all the reviews and had it down to two models and just so happen when I got to the store one of my online picks was on sale close to 50.00 dollars off so that made choosing very easy.... Love the Monitor and works wonderful just as expected...

I bought two of these monitors for my son who works at home. He is employed by Red Hat. He uses both monitors simutaneously at his desk. They are bright and very clear monitors. He is enjoying them very much. I will recommend these monitors for home and small business.

I purchased this monitor for work because: • It is a 24 inch display (actually 23.8 inches) with a very narrow bezel. • It is only 21.2 inches wide and I can fit two of these, side by side, in a very narrow cubicle. • It is VESA compliant and I can mount two of these on a double monitor stand. • It has VGA and HDMI inputs and includes the HDMI cable. In the end the display images are gorgeous, the resolution is excellent and the integrated speakers are good enough for work. Above all, the price was right. I waited for it to be on sale and got an excellent deal.
