This monitor has great viewing angles, although glossy the reflection disappears after you turn it on especially with lighter colored backgrounds, really clean looking. Problem is that the cable connections on the back are extremely tight which means that you may have a little bit of trouble putting the cables in. Includes an HDMI cable which resolves the problem a little bit. The speakers sound tiny and horrible but I have a pair of speakers so that is no problem. I use this for homework and videos which this monitor excels at. It's a great monitor for the price especially knowing that it is an IPS display.

Read the reviews prior to hitting the store and really hit the jackpot as the monitor was also on sale. I am totally pleased with every aspect of this item.

This monitor has great quality picture. I especially like the touch control on the side of the bezel to control settings, such as sound. The only draw back is the monitor is not adjustable, and it only has 1 HDMI.

Great monitor for the price. Picture quality is great. Only problem I have with the monitor is the HDMI output is awkwardly placed so it makes it hard to plug in. This is easily remedied with an HDMI port saver adapter. I'll be buying another one of these monitors in the near future.

Dell S2415H is a nice glossy monitor. It is easy to setup and easy to use. It supports HDMI and VGA (check specification section for more input details). Resolution fits nicely on 24", no bleeding, no blur. no mixed colors on fonts as on 27" with the same resolution. IPS works fine. Sound is not bad at all once connected to HDMI. Back side of the monitor is made of plastic, nothing significant. It is possible to adjust the view angle, but not the height. If you are looking for Apple or other expensive monitors quality with excellent contrast and brightness and colors, then Dell monitor is not the answer, but it is somewhat close to it. I keep mine on 100-brightness and 100-contrast, 100-R, 100-G, 100-B to be able to get that "kind of Apple" feel. It's great for web browsing, games, office use and more. It definitely is very good considering the price.

I bought this monitor about a month ago, it was on sale and has a really good picture. I liked it a lot when i had windows 7 it was a great monitor. but now that I have windows 10, its junk. Dell has no new driver update for it to display full screen when using the HDMI cable, and using the junk VGA cable sucks with this monitor also. If your running windows 10 DO NOT buy this monitor. You'll have 1 inch black boarders around the screen and no way of making the picture fill the screen. Right now Dell has no plans to update the driver for this monitor to be compatible with Windows 10.

I wanted to "expand my horizons" with a larger monitor and this one fit the bill nicely! I read reviews which were overwhelmingly positive then went into the store to check it out. I especially liked the base and how it sits a little higher off my desk. The base also allows me to slide my wireless keyboard (and mouse) underneath to give me full use of the desk in front of it. Good clarity/sharpness and colors. Two big thumbs up here!

This was well priced and fits in the space I nended to have a larger screen on my Lenovo laptop.

Sleek looking my biggest complaint is there isn't a DVI option. Solely VGA or HDMI input options. But great look monitor running on VGA and I bet HDMI would look much crisper

I bought this as a gift for my BF who works from home off of a work laptop. He was convinced he did not need one until I surprise set it up for him. His comment was....I had NO IDEA what I was missing! Its AMAZING! I purchased Dell for two reasons: 1. Matches his work laptop brand 2. It was the clearest monitor of all the options on display Thrilled!

Dell has made another great monitor...sleek styling and good resolution BUT for the price you'd think they would have put a bit more into the built in speakers. The monitor has two but they sound more like one which is really sick. If you just need to hear notifications and have no space for external speakers, look for this on sale. If you want to pay regular price, buy a different monitor and separate speakers. Otherwise its a really good monitor.

Terrible image quality issue when using a Macbook Pro HDMI to the HDMI input on this monitor. I've also tried a Mini Display port to HDMI adapter and Mini-DP to HDMI cable, but I still have the same issue. I've enabled LCD font smoothing, and I've tried the recommendations I found on forums (http://www.mathewinkson.com/2013/03/force-rgb-mode-in-mac-os-x-to-fix-the-picture-quality-of-an-external-monitor) to force RGB color profile as well, but the monitor simply does not want to provide a decent output from my Mac. I use HP monitors at work from the Mini-display to display port without any issue. To be fair to Dell, the monitor looks great while connected to my PS4, but I bought this display specifically to use for work. I want to return it. However, I was unaware Best Buy changed their return policy to 15 Days and I was a week over by the time I did all the troubleshooting. The policy has been 30 days for years, but now I'm stuck with a monitor I can't use!

Very crisp picture. Easy set up. Highly recommended. Going to be buying a seconded one down the road. Can't beat the price either for what you get.

It has hdmi and speakers built in. Which looks great on my gaming pc. Good response time! I really like the glossy screen. Cons: the only thing I would change is make it faster than the standard 60 he but I'm used to 60 anyway
