Good overall laptop. A bit heavy and low resolution display. Performance is fine but the GPU or its drivers seem to have some bugs. I suggest to maybe try for a different GPU. The new intel Arc may not be the most stable.

The computer is a bit pricey and doesn’t come with any of the commonly used software such as Microsoft office/365. Laptop looks great, display is crystal clear, the processor is fast enough for my applications - reviewing scientific journal manuscripts, email, internet browsing etc - and has plenty of memory. Some minor issues that take a bit of getting used to are: the orientation of the keyboard and sensitivity of the screen (just hovering over a command with the cursor seems to activate the command before ever clicking on it). Only been using it for a few weeks. Can’t comment on battery life because it is always plugged into the wall outlet.

Nice piece of kit and you can feel the quality. Good keyboard (backlighting a nice touch) and decent screen. Having no USB_C ports a little confusing at first but most things can Bluetooth and they do include on adaptor in the box. Prices do go up rapidly for more powerful version, especially if you change out the graphics card. NOTE we are having some glitching with this so will probably need to take back to the store to get looked at.

Solid laptop for light gaming, grad school, and photo editing. Well built, great battery life, and the fingerprint/face unlock worked well for me. Only downsides are really the lower quality web cam and 60hz screen, but when discounted this is a great deal.

Good for creating word documents and taking notes. The display is good for the price but I kind of wish I had paid the extra money for the improved graphics. I have had zero overheating issues but I'm also not doing a ton of multitasking. I had an older version of this same laptop and it lasted for 8 years before I upgraded so I would recommend this laptop for anyone not going a lot of online gaming or running large design programs; you would want something with more processing power for that. I did have a little trouble transferring some of my files from my old laptop but a hardwire transfer worked just fine. Overall, I am happy with this laptop and the money I spent, it does exactly what I need it to do.

Good balance of performance and battery for a windows laptop. Battery does not last as much as Macbook air/pro but quite decent compared to other windows laptop. Dell - XPS 15 15.6" FHD+ Laptop - Intel Evo i7 - Intel Evo Design - Intel Arc A370M - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Platinum Silver

Loyal Dell XPS user here. My Dell XPS 15 (2017) still runs to this day. This current model has good build quality and battery life (for a Windows laptop; nothing beats Appple on this). However, it does tend to run hot.

Great entry level pc for comprehensive design major. It paid off to have total tech protection on it as it got damaged and had to be replaced no problem.

This XPS is a great quality laptop. The only downside is it weighs almost double of the xps 13, which I returned this for. I need a lighter weight laptop for my executive team.

DO NOT BUY!! Priced way to high. Does not have touchscreen or fingerprint screen. Had a problem and Geek Squad came out and fixed it. It crashed with me twice and I could not even turn it off. Could not remove my money files. Took it to Best Best and they removed money files and it crashed with them to. Best Buy said they were sending it back to Dell.
