I recently enrolled in some college IT classes and had been doing research on which PC or Laptop would serve my needs the best. While gathering information for my "future purchase" I had been working with Will and a couple other people in one of the Omaha stores. Everyone was very helpful and informative. Then both my PC and laptop decided that they were pretty much done being of service to me... now in panic mode I went back to Best Buy. Once again, Will along with his team of managers were very understanding of my critical timing needs to find the right laptop. I have classes and lessons due in 2 days that I would like to be able to complete on my own equipment. The Dell XPS15 9550 was one of the final contenders and it was hard to pass up on the sale savings as well. The I7 processor, the 1TB SSD hard drive, the UHD display, the NVIDIA 960 graphics plus many other features and benefits made it much easier to say yes and take it home with me. They helped me turn a frantic day into a very positive experience by working as a team. Thanks to Chris in the Geek Squad showing empathy and understanding of my situation as well as to the sales and management team jumping in to help me find the right laptop solution for me while making it enjoyable. The product is great and the service was even BETTER! Thanks again.

Pros: Very Fast, lightweight, fantastic screen, great laptop for photography. Battery Life is really quite good. Cons: No Ethernet Jack, USB-C charging not currently an option. One more USB port would really help.

I would say this is the best laptop on the market at the moment. Mine loads fast, is super quiet, and I love the touch screen. Big Fan!

Great new laptop. The infinity edge and quality of screen is awesome. Lightning fast and excellent battery life. Only issue was connecting to my home network printer. On line and phone could not fix. Took it in to geek squad and they reinstalled Windows 10. Presto everything is great. Probably an issue with this just released model and factory install. Any case it a great product.

I have been eyeballing this Dell XPS15 since it came out. What made me buy it? Great quality, feels sturdy and I felt that the tech inside will last for a few years till its outdated and the laptop itself will have a long life other than swapping out the battery when it is needed. This Ultrabook is great, there is nothing to say there. Their are alot of people online raving about this Dell and you can read their thoughts on that because that's how I feel. A few things that bug me; 1. Touch-pad - not as responsive as I would like from a $2,649.99 laptop, comparing to Mac Mac's touch-pad is superior than Dells 2. Blacks are displayed horribly because of the 4K, movies, shows, videos are not formatted in 4K quite yet for the regular viewing online. But this is a reason why it is ahead of its time and I know that this ultrabook's tech won't be outdated for some years to come. 3. I guess its two things I don't like, until the black on the screen comes out better I'll give it a 4 star. Reasons why you shouldn't buy this "laptop"; If your a casual web surfer, video junkie, show addict and occasional office user this is not the ultrabook for you. Get a laptop this is not a laptop it is a performance driven ultrabook. Now if you have a few bills layin around and like nice things, be my guest and purchase the best laptop out right now. I'm tired of writing.. bye.

Lightening fast laptop w/touch screen (and tablet mode). Simple to set up and update software. Tons of ssd storage. Crystal clear screen 4k hd. Good battery life. Online description said it came with a 3.5 ghz processor however this one came with a 2.60 ghz processor. I need to followup to verify if ad was wrong or the wrong processor was installed. It really is a great computer.

If you want to play moderate video games it handles very well.. More hardcore gaming the harder to play. The fan turns on if you are watching high quality videos or play any type of games

Couldnt be happier with the purchase. This is a great laptop that exceeded my expectations. Was able to catch onsale and openbox for a great deal. Even at regular price this has to be one of the better high end laptops. I use it for work, play and in between and have been impressed with the speed and graphics of this. Edits hires videos (goPro) without any stutters and beautiful on its 4k display. I've only played one game so far (Gears of War 4) but it plays that fine at the 1080p setting.

This Computer has all the performance features (Core i7, 16GB RAM, 6 cell battery, etc.) I was looking for. No major issues utilizing it, with the exception of apparent operating system or Windows 10 application crashes. Very nice! Compact, lightweight, good case design (aluminum and carbon composite).

The specs to this laptop have been amazing. The price Best buy gave has been decent. So far after one month it has been working well, time will still tell.

Nice laptop so far pretty solid. I use it as my development machine and everything else. I have it connected to 2 4K external monitors and it looks great!

I bought this computer after using a Dell Inspiron for the last few years. The initial problem I had is with the 4k display as many of the applications I use had not updated their software to support 4k. The speed a performance is at par with any system you will get out there. I don't really like the positioning of the camera, but since I hardly use the webcam it does not bother me much. I have had it freeze on me a couple of times but not recently. in all, its not been a bad experience but it can still be better.

Bought this computer because I needed a fast, powerful laptop for business use. Was going to buy the new Microsoft Surface book but BestBuy salesperson introduced me to the Dell XPS 15 9550 with 1TB hard drive, 16GB memory, 4K InfinityEdge touch display, etc. When I compared to the specs of the equivalent Surface book, the features and value was not even close. I've had the computer for one month and am very happy with it.

I'm in love with this laptop! It's light, gorgeous, fast, and powerful for its size! I bought the laptop to run CAD programs like NX and SolidWorks, which it runs very well. I found that it decently runs games too if played at lower resolutions than 4K. 2560 x 1440 resolution usually yields about 40fps. Single-player games like Dishonored 2 run smoother than Multiplayer games like Osiris: New Dawn. In addition, it has plenty of storage for all the games I want, all of my CAD files, my music, documents, etc.

Best Buy has the absolute best price and system configuration for the XPS 15 9550. No one had an XPS 15 with 1TB installed period, including Dell, Microsoft. $2300 was awesome price. Only negative. Wish had in home warranty service.

The speed and functionality is remarkable. I can record the game and at the same make a copy disk for the other team

I am actually in my 2nd replacement. The first one had some screen issues, the second one was an obvious return that was sent to me as "new" and the last one had a wobbly base. Ended up just tolerating the wobble and kind of twisted it a little bit with improvement. The laptop itself is beautiful and performs well as long as you get a good one. It was just disappointing to be sent a used one by Best Buy.

Very fast computer with a nice display. Display is more detailed than my MacBook Pro retina. Processor handles anything tried with ease. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that windows is the OS and as with all windows machines they have their problems with software freezes and crashes.

I initially purchased this laptop to view and edit my GoPro videos. My previous laptop was trash and I didn't want to purchase a desktop CPU. I was torn between the MacBook Pro and this laptop. Because I'm originally a PC/Windows user, I was hesitant to purchase the MacBook. However, I read that the screen resolution was slightly better than the MacBook, so I decided to purchase this laptop. Best decision ever! I've had the laptop for about a month now. Still too early to tell, but the laptop is running great. The screen resolution is great. Videos run very smoothly. It's capable of connecting to a 5G wireless router. And the touchscreen feature is awesome! The only con is that it has only two USB 3.0 ports, but it's okay. No big deal. Also, it's a bit pricey if you're only using it for streaming videos or surfing the internet. Anyway, awesome laptop overall!
