Did not like having to manually turn off the amount of water going into the expresso cup. This should be automatic. As a beginner I have no idea how much water needs to go in.

I am quite pleased with my coffee maker. Whether you're making a pot of coffee to host several people or you're making a cup for one, you'll find what your needs complete with this purchase. Definitely recommend!

I have yet to use it because set-up is more complicated than anticipate. I like all the features offered, so if it performs well, so much the better.

My wife loves to drink latte, but for her it is important that the coffee machine made the foam! She has been using for 3 months and is very pleased!

The espresso function started leaking huge amounts of water within the first 6 weeks of use. The drip coffee side worked fine but the heating element ultimately quit at just after the 1 year warranty mark. DeLonghi wouldn't extend any courtesy. So this $250+ machine lasted 1 year. I was expecting it to last for at least a few years. Disappointing. I do not recommend this brand.

its perfect because you can have of both worlds but it spills water underneath so you need a towel under it.

Bought it for a friend as a wedding gift. They use it every morning. Had to return the first one for an exchange as it stopped working but had no issue returning but the new ones had been great.

Coffee part is good. Espresso part worked only once and wont work again. Geek squad get to work

PROS: * Comes with a PERMANENT metal coffee filter!!! Best feature!!! * Can use ESE pods * Nice polished stainless steel looks awesome * Cup warmer on top of the coffee maker * Removable water tank for easy refilling at the sink * Has auto shutdown mode after 2 hours * As good or better than other machines in this class (top of the "non-commercial" machines). Remember, this is not an $800 machine or commercial grade. * Frothing capabilities are adequate, but some other “better” machines may perform this procedure a bit better/quicker. CONS: Absolutely NONE! NOTES: Everyone’s coffee tastes differ, but this coffee/espresso maker is as good as one would hope for in this price range. The look of the product is GREAT. It makes good coffee... :) The clock is a great touch. It’s compact yet very solid and durable. It doesn’t look OR feel cheap. The coffee pot warmer is also great as some machines do not have this feature. The timer is pretty common but always a great feature. I also used the machine to also make hot chocolate, and the frother did as it should. This is usually the first thing to “go” on a machine, so only time will tell how durable the frother attachment will last – but so far, it appears “solid”. 2 thumbs up for the entire machine – functionality, great polished look, solid feel. I haven’t see a better machine out there in this price range PERIOD (considering functions provide). I honestly looked for cons and didn’t find ONE. Don’t hesitate to purchase. What a great product!

When pouring coffee it’s hard not to make a mess. The spout isn’t long enough or something. For the money it could’ve been better designed.

Worked well for a little while. Steamer option quit abruptly. Local store said I had to call manufacturer to get warranty work. Not very helpful BestBuy for an Elite Member loyal customer. First time ever that I have had problems with defective item and your return policy. Have to start looking elsewhere instead of buying $200 defective items from BestBuy.

The machine appears to be of good quality, however difficult to operate, judge amounts and clean.

This is the worst espresso or cappuccino coffee machine; the coffee has a consistency of watered down coffee. We have tried all mixes and different coffees and they were all the same. We even called Italy and spoke with a representative of DeLonghi and they said we are on our own. So we switched to Mr. Coffee; Wow that is great. We have two Italians in our office raised in Rome who can testify to the flavor and consistency to the coffee. So I would never buy anything from DeLonghi based upon the performance of the machines as well as customer service. FZAD ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN PC

We now feel like baristas! Machine works wonderfully and love how each feature is separate so can really make your coffee however you want!

I put coffee stuff in the thing. I also have to put water in it too. Too much work. 4/10. Recommend going to Starbucks after.

Good coffe our frother broke and we could never get it to work again

This has been great so far. I am not a coffee maker but love full flavor coffee and this makes it supper easy for me.

It is great if you are a coffee lover that does not have a lot of space in the kitchen to have 2 separate coffee machines
