We replaced a standard coffee maker with this and are glad that we did. I held off on writing this review until we had the chance to use the espresso/cappuccino features. I'm glad I waited because we were pleasantly surprised with the results. The Starbucks buyers in our family were skeptics, but they raved about their cappuccino after the fact. They actually enjoyed making them and had fun in the process. The unit gets used daily for coffee and has done a great job with that. The carafe is better quality than our previous unit so we're hoping to get a lot of use out of this appliance. We'd strongly recommend this coffeemaker.

For the price of it, it does a lot. As a barista however, it does not meet my satisfaction. Mainly with the milk steamer. It seems a little too weak to even be able to create foam of any sort. Apart from that, the coffee brewers is great and so is the espresso maker. The instructions with this device isn't really very clear either and the overall build quality has a cheap feel to it. I will still recommend it to someone who wants to brew their own coffee at home, but not if you want to have an authentic coffee experience.

Great coffee/espresso machine!! This was my first time making espresso and with this machine it's a breeze. Easy to set up, use & clean. Beverages taste great!!

Easy to set up and easily understood instructions. Coffee is good and smooth. The expresso maker is good and coffee comes out with a good froth.

This DeLonghi 10-cup coffee maker is nothing short of a fabulous machine. This immediately become a focus point in our kitchen. We broke the machine in by having weekend guests. From our morning coffee over breakfast to espresso in the afternoon and after dinner, this machine kept performing for us all day. Note this is not your average coffee maker, it requires some additional effort to learn how to use the espresso part of the machine, but once you do, you'll have a professional-level coffee maker in your home.

I bought mine a few weeks ago and have been using it every day for the past three weeks, but I am going to return it. Pros: Compact Great taste Easy to use I love the milk steamer/frother feature Cons: Messy -- water leaks everywhere... The espresso feature does not automatically stop once it is done making the 1-2 shots of espresso. It will keep going until it is out of water. The spout of the carafe is not great... the way it is shaped makes pouring coffee a disaster I am going to return this and buy a different machine that is more efficient for the price.

This is a good item that does what it says it does. My main problem with it was figuring out how everything works. The coffee part of it is easy but the espresso part seems to have a lot more steps than should be necessary. I will still use it but probably won't use it for more than coffee. Setup was pretty easy, too.

So after a year using this product ( steaming alot the last 2 months) my steamer stop working and water coming out on the side, so i went on to read all reviews and saw lots off people was mad and had the same problem,( i was so mad also and ready to go buy a new one, but all coffee machine out there got bad reviews, now i told my hubby about the it being broken,he right way knew the problem I Always clean it but totally for got to clean it with vinegar and now did, i Poured vinegar in the water part to make espresso then let it run then hot water and repeat 1 more time until water was clear and smooth, now my machine is like new again, i know there is a liquid thing to buy out there to use every so often, but i used vinegar so before you guys go and throw your machine away,ALL coffee mashies need to be cleaned regularly 1 month if use everyday. I hope i helped people out there with this. Thank you

This is probably the most advanced coffee machine I've ever used. It's feature rich, and with some practice, can make you a barista in your own home. Overall I'm super impressed!

To keep the review simple, this replaced the keurig in the household. The espresso and drip coffee come out great and don't have a burnt taste to them.

great coffee make with espresso, it is a coffee maker and makes coffee and espresso, wake you up and rise to some nice hot coffee.

This is a solid piece of equipment. Everything has worked great the entirety that we've had it, and has honestly made our lives easier. The only downside to it is its size: it's pretty big on a counter, but as long as you have the space for it this is a great product.

It’s incredible. If you like coffee, you need one. Works great! Could be faster but that would be Starbucks fast. Gets the job done for home just fine! I bought 2 more for friends!

I was so excited to get this machine in the mail I waited the entire day. Upon arrival it looked good until I used it. I followed the instructions and after three times of trying to get the espresso to work it finally started to work only drip. Took 10min to actually get some espresso. Worst piece of junk I ever came across in my life. Do not spend your money on this PLEASE! Don't even get me started about the steamer. I tried using it but only hot hot hot water came out and splashed my hands. It drips water and makes the milk taste terrible! Overall spent my day trying to get this to work to only get the worst cup of coffee in existence.

I bought this coffee maker/espresso machine for a Christmas present. The coffee maker no longer works and it's only April. If you read reviews online from multiple websites you will find this product is plagued with problems I read lots of reviews on the BestBuy website and people spoke about it's great features but none of the top reviews really spoke about longevity which there isn't with this coffee maker. if you do buy this product buy the warranty from Best buy, almost guaranteed you will need it. On the upside the espresso machine is good.

Had this coffee machine for 11 months. Within the first 4 months it completely stopped brewing. Had it replaced after a long process with warranty to "prove" it completely stopped working. Now 7 months later the replacement has started brewing my coffee into the bottom of my machine and only about 4 cups out of 10 into pot. So definitely not worth $300. Didn't even last a whole year between 2 coffee machines!

It has been less than a month and the coffee maker is not working. The couple of times that we made American coffee, the coffee was great!! However, to make espresso, that was another story. I wasted more coffee than what we drank.

We spent a good deal of money on this and now, 6 months later, the coffee pot side has ALDREADY stopped working at all. Upon further research, this appears to be a common problem. Having something to do with the thermal fuse blowing due to a faulty heating pad. There is a one year warranty, but, of course, it has to be shipped to delonghi at your expense. The last delonghi espresso machine we had, stopped working properly as well. Our equipment is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned after each use. There is NO reason for this to be happening. This was the last time we'll be buying delonghi.

This is a terrible product! I went through two units. The first one the lights were flickering on the front of the machine. So I returned it and got another. The second had the same issue and the steam wand didn't work. I would have to purge it each time for 20 seconds just to get it to stop spitting out water and get pure steam. After doing that it would create way too much foam. I know the proper technique to get the right about of foam as I have used other machines. This one simply is garbage. Their customer service was not good at all. Do NOT give this company your money!
