I've had this espresso machine for about a year and I have liked it so far. It's a great starter machine. However, I am wanting to upgrade because I think it could do better. It takes quite a while to froth milk as you have to wait for the wand to heat up a few times. When I originally purchased this machine, it was missing the scoop/stamp, but after emailing deLonghi, they sent me one. Additionally, my machine will leak from time to time.

Machine was easy to set up and get started with brewing espresso and delicious milk froth for the Capp crowd on Christmas. Easy to clean as well. Bought as a gift, we were all delighted with this DeLonghi!

Been wanting an espresso machine for a long time, and I picked this up when it went on sale. Its fairly quick to warm up, although the top warming tray does take quite a while to warm, and its not evenly flat. The center is bowed upwards a tiny bit, but nothing too extreme. The steam wand does an alright job, though I do wish it were just a little bit longer for deeper cups. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing (I've never had an espresso machine before). The controls are simple and easy to read and it comes with a good starter guide. I did notice that the 2 scoop filter does not exactly fit two scoops of espresso grounds with the provided scooper. This unit is not automatic. You have to learn when to stop the water flow, but it hasn't been a steep learning curve for me. I've read some information online, watched a few videos, and each time the flavor and consistency seems to get better. This machine gets great reviews and despite the top warming shelf not being perfectly even, it overall feels like a quality appliance. It's also nice to have the option of removing the water tank to fill.

My old espresso machine was turning into a pressure bomb so I finally broke down and bought a new one. I was interested in an all-in-one press, drip, and grinder, but that was out of stock in-store and I bought this instead to get by. Honestly, it does everything I need and I'm super happy. I especially like the removable mesh in the bottom of the cups. It's also $800-900 cheaper than the all-in-one.

I'd been using cheap steam espresso machines for years. They were fun and made good cup of nice strong coffee and for years I was happy. Then it happened that the plastic started breaking down after all I'd been using it for a lot of years. So I decided to splurge on a "real" espresso machine since I had earned a credit with Best Buy. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Now I'm a Barista creating all kinds of real cafe' shop quality drinks. Fast and easy to use, now every morning I REALLY look forward to that first cup. If you like espresso or other espresso based drinks, you will love this machine. I'm sorry I didn't get a 15 bar machine sooner. You can spend more money for extra bells and whistle but if you want a GREAT machine at a GREAT price this is it. Highly recommended for the espresso lover in your family.

This machine makes great espresso for the price of the machine. It’s quick and easy. It doesn’t auto turn off when it makes a shot worth. I had to invest in espresso glasses to make sure I brewed the right amount. When taking the handle off that holds the espresso, the part that holds the grounds comes off and gets stuck in the machine. Not a huge deal, but a minor inconvenience.

Not only did the store help me locate this item so it could be shipped quickly to my home. It turned out to be an excellent addition to our kitchen. Easy to use and clean.

Exceeded expectations for quality and ease of use. Price could not be beat. highly recommended if you are an expresso or capuccino drinker.

I enjoy the price and don't mind the simplicity of the machine, but you definitely need to know how to make good espresso to enjoy it.
