Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After my old coffee maker gave up the ghost after serving me well and faithfully, I researched coffee makers and settled on this machine, the CM530M. I've returned it -- something that I rarely, rarely do. Why? The coffee brewing side works as advertised. The espresso side is a work-in-progress. The lights are supposed to blink until the water gets hot enough. They don't; they glow solid from the moment you start so you have no way of know when the water is hot. The only way to get the machine to behave is unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it back in, reset the clock, and go again at which point the lights will blink. But....the next time you try to make espresso (if you leave the machine plugged in), the same thing happens again. I noticed that De'Longhi has a CM532 replacement on the market but Best Buy is not carrying it at this time. What did I finally go with from Best Buy?: The Ninja CM401 that I'll give 5 stars at this point (good coffee, easy to set up and clean, lots of options, makes a reasonable "fake" espresso -- and it costs less than the 530M).

Solid brewer but not sure about espresso

But so far we use only the coffee pot, not the espresso machine. I tried to use it twice but couldn’t quite figure out how to make a decent espresso or latte.
